Is my Phoebe the right size for her age? Hello All! I hope I'm doing this correctly as I am new to this. My little Phoebe is 15 wks and she is about 8 in.long (from base of neck to rear) and 6 in. at the shoulder. She was 2.8 lbs at 12 wks. Does this mean she will be huge? Mom is 5.5 and Dad is 3.5-4. |
Yorkies come in all sizes but guesstimating her adult size she should be about 6lbs:) perfect size imo |
Thanks! Your babies are beautiful! |

I think it's hard to say. Wrigley was 1.13lbs at 12 1/2 weeks & is 6lbs on the nose now! The breeder and our vet thought she would be 4lbs, so you never know! |
I guess it doesn't really matter. It's just that I've have already spoiled her rotten and taken her everywhere with me. I just hope she stays small enough for me to continue to do that! This is such a great site! Nice to talk to others that love their babies as much as I love mine!:) |

Tucker was 2.5 pounds at 10 weeks... he is now 9 pounds at year and half. He came from 4 pound parents. So in my case, the "rule of thumb" didnt apply for either. They come in all shapes and sizes...:)... if your pup does end up bigger.. just more to love..:) congrats on your new pup.. |
Phoebe will probably be between 5 to 6 pounds . |
I have a Phoebe too! And they are about the same age! |
AWWWW! How sweet! How big is your baby? She's so cute!!! |
Thank you your baby is beautiful too. She is about 2.5lbs may be a little more by now not sure. |
awww how cute you guys have twins! |
Size Yes, yorkies do come in many sizes. Between 5 to 6 lbs she should be depending on how much and what you feed her. |
