What is wrong with PURINA PUPPY CHOW? |
What you feed your pup is totally a personal choice but from what I have seen personally...Not a good choice for me. |
Thats what I am wanting to know...why? That's what I feed Maddie and you've got me worried. |
Maybe try googling Purina puppy chow reviews...? |
Aw, poor little guy!! So young and what a crappy food!! It's great that his owner wants someone to watch him, especially with him being so young he needs to be watched!! I bet you will have fun watching him, enjoy those puppy kisses!! Oh and get some pictures of the little guy, we love pictures!! |
Food Choice is totally personal and alot of people like puppy chow... I think I mentioned the food more because she told me he is 7 weeks today and is really small and is only on puppy chow and the breeder says he has been only on puppy chow for sometime now... |
I googled Purina Puppy Chow... and it wasnt good :( .. its safe to say that we should research anything we give these precious babies after all we are all they have |

Just found out he turned 7 weeks yesterday and the breeder says he has all his shots? And got them awhile ago?? Isn't that too young? |
7 weeks is too young to have all his shots already. I don't even start mine until they are 8 weeks because they should have the antibodies from mom still. I hope that you have fun with him :) |

Ask to see a vet record of shots if you want to be sure. My dogs were not allowed to even set foot on soil where other dogs were until around 16 weeks when they finished all 4 rounds of shots. |
2 Attachment(s) A pic of us today lol |
he is cute but he seems so small like he should be curled up in a nest with a bunch of other puppies he dose not look old enough to be able to eat hard food |

It lists all the dog foods and lets you see which ones are good and which ones are not. I hate to tell you this, but Puppy Chow is low on the list. Until I found YT I did not know there was any difference with dog food. I thought it was all the same. I feed Reesie Orijen Puppy. It is the best of the best. You can find a store that sells it here: Orijen I don't mind spending any more money for it because I know it's good for him. Also, he doesn't eat a whole bunch of it, so he doesn't go through a bag as fast. I think the lower the quality of the food the more they have to eat of it to fill them up. Hope this helps!:) |
Boy he is a little guy, I am glad the owner is having you watch him during the day in my opinion he needs the attention. I am not sure I would trust he had all his shots, that seems so young and he doesn't look old enough to have them all. Good luck with him,I am sure he is in good hands with you. |
