If I boil some chicken for my dog can I still not give him the bone or is it just not safe to give them bones fried or not? |
I don't think bones are recommended at all, they could choke on them, or the bones could splinter. |
NO!! No chicken bones!! I don't give my dogs any bones. The only ones I will give them are the white natural bones the big ones that you buy at pet smart. Dentley's Natural Choobles Sterilized Bones - Rawhide & Chews - Dog - PetSmart They are large and already sterilized. chicken bones have slivers in them and they can obstruct or rupture intestines. |
People who feed raw give their dogs the bones -- but they're not cooked. Never give cooked bones. |
No! You should not, chicken bones are not for dogs! |
Brit is right. Only give raw bones.. A raw chicken leg with the bone is ok. But a cooked bone is bad and can splinter. |
As the others have said, only give bones raw! |
Personally, I would give any dog a bone they can actually chew up. They really don't need to "eat" a bone, but if you get a nice femur bone, they can chew "on" it which strengthens the teeth and jaw and aids in cleaning the teeth. |
