Dirty Dog!!!! My little princess? What a hoot that statement is - she's my little hunter! We live in a rural area and have about 2 acres fenced tightly enough that our Yorkies can run alot. Lexy chases rabbits and squirrels and anything else that will run. Right now there are some baby rabbits under a storage building that she is after all the time. This morning she was under there with them. When I called her in, she was CAKED with MUD all the way up to her hips and shoulders. Oh, what a mess. We were taking a bath at 7:45 AM! It took 40 minutes to get her bathed and dried! Fortunately, I can close off a smaller place and not let her in the back. No more back yard for her for a while. :D By the way, I found a neat pet hairdryer at the farm store yesterday (Atwoods) on an adjustable stand with 3 speeds - for $21.95! Gosh, it made drying her so easy. Jeanne |
We also live on a small farm and Pita found a batch of hours old kittens the other day and she grabbed one and ripped it's ear! If I wouldn't have stopped her she would have killed it. Who knew these lil darlings could be such fierce hunters?? |
I know. We live outside the city limits and I'm amazed how dirty Kacee gets. She got a bath last night. I was always scared for the little baby birds that sometimes end up in our fenced yard before they can really fly. Muffin would be after them in no time if someone wasn't there to save them and Kacee is just the same. |
