Gucci is getting spay today
 
Today I took Gucci to get spay at the ASPCA mobile van. The vet is also extracting her 4 canine, so far. Please have my little one on your prayers. I have to pick her up at 2 o'clock, so I will keep you all posted how she does. Im going to try to take a nap now cause I didnt sleep last nite, to anxious. Sorry I didnt mentined sooner that she was getting spay but since is without appoointment I wasnt sure if she was going to be done. I was standing outside on the rain for 2 hours before the van show up.
Is the first time that Gucci is not with me and I miss her so much. Even my daugther kept asking where Gucci was before she left to preK. The apt feels so lonely, I cant wait for 2 pm.

Sending best wishes for Gucci your way - I remember how scared I was but the actual surgery is really not as bad as us moms feel - GOOD LUCK TODAY and I hope time flies quickly for you ...Chanel & Cheri send big hugs

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Marie. :) I know how awful it is to have to leave them like that. 2:00 isn't that long now. Just about four more hours left. I have to take Kacee a week from Friday and I'm already feeling a twinge of nerves and her vet raises yorkies.

Gucci is home and she looks so sad. She is sleeping now. I feel so bad for her. My husband is mad at me, he doesnt understand why I had to spayed her. He told me that I wouldn't like it if they took your woman stuff out, I reminded him that I had a tubal ligation and that the spaying is done to prevent tumors, etc. The vet pulled her 4 baby canines, so she is a bit uncomfortable. Im just happy is over. Also extremely happy that the spaying and extractions where done for free.I guess I was lucky in that sense being that we are going thru some financial difficulties. Im going to take a nap because Im not feeling well myself. I will keep you all posted later.Im so tired that I purchase ($3)the Ecollar and left it at the van. :( I hope she doesnt lick the stiches.
I met a lady with a yorkie on the line fo the ASPA Mobile Van(free or low cost spaying/neuter services). I told her about YT and she said she was ging to join us.

Hi,

Well Jasmine ate when she got home. But, now she just wants to be alone. She's lying in her bed trying to rest. She whines off and on. I'll just let her rest. When she wants to be bothered she'll ket me know.

Ah, Marie, you must feel really tired. You said you didn't sleep well.

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes. Gucci has being sleeping since we got home. She got up once to walk to the pee pad do her thing and when back to her bed. She still walks a little "drunkish". I hope she start feeling like her old self soon. She hasn't eaten yet, Im assuming she is not comfortable cause the vet extracted 4 teeth also. Is so cold and is being raining old day so all I want to do is stay in bed. Im not feeling well either, flu like and my IBS is acting up also. My 4 yr old has being so good letting Gucci rest. She goes and checks on her and makes sure she is warm. I will keep you all posted.

So glad you are and Gucci are doing well! She will be fine. Try to get some slep tonight..Fagan is being neutered tomorrow!!! My turn not to sleep :( :(

Oh Marie, you and Gucci go cuddle up! Tomorrow will be a better day!! It's finally supposed to stop raining!

(We've had rain everyday for the last week here, so EVERYBODY has the blahs!! )

Marie I hpe that both you and Gucci are feeling better today. May I suggest that you both get under the covers, snuggle and just be bed-bums all day long! ;)

Gucci is a litte better today. She woke up at 2 am to use the potty and was looking for food so I fed her a bit of soft food(she had 4 teeth extracted also) . Then she was trying to get up to our bed but I was afraid that she will jump down. So I pet her until she fell asleep on her bed next to mine. Today Im still not feeling well, so I slept most of the day and my hubby put Gucci on the bed with me. Luckily when she needed to go down to potty she will wake me up. I think she is a bit scare to jump off the bed. She ate and drank water and used the potty. She is not playful yet but I hope that little by little she goes back to her old self. Thank you all for your well wishes.

PS: My husband is so mad at me. he doesnt understand why I had to spayed her. He told me that I should have my insides pull out. I feel bad as it is. I guess I just go back to bed.

I understand what you are going through. Mya is getting spayed on Tuesday and I am anxious. I have a bunch of questions that I want to ask the vet.
