Update on my puppy!

Hi everyone... the last time I wrote I let everyone know that I was finally getting my puppy... well unfortunatly I was unable to get the puppy from the breeder that I was working with... my husband had a major part in that and there were a few other minor issues that were going on...anyhow... my husband went and bought me my puppy (yes this is the man that did not want a 3rd dog) he totaly surprised me! He had been telling me no because I guess all this time he was planning on getting me this beautiful little guy all along... Well let me introduce you all to Jojo... he is 9 weeks old (yes I know, but I didn't buy him) we are going to the vet tomorrow for his check up but so far he seems to be doing really good... :aimeeyork

I am so happy I love my Valentine's day baby!

Thank you everyone! I love my little boy, he is awesome, I am so very surprixed with him. he hasn't cried during the night yet... he falls asleep around 10:30 or 11 and doesnt wake up till about 5... last night he slept with my two dachshunds and did great, they all woke up at 7 am... I was so very surprised...

on another note... I have read this before but have forgotten, at what age do their ears start standing up... his ears are shaved but flap down as you can see in the pics I have of him. I am not sure on his weight yet, I wasnt able to go to the vet today, we have an appt for weds.

One of our little girls ears were standing at 9 weeks well one of them was.. the other stood up at 10 weeks. This is the only one out of six puppies that their ears are standing at this time. A couple of boys ears are doing some funky things. Joey's (the dads) ears didn't stand until he was about 16 weeks and this was with help in taping them.

oh ok... I will wait and see then... I am so excited about this little guy... i love him to bits... didnt think I could love a little dog this much... I feel bad for my other two...lol...but I still love them... they get jealous and everytime I go to their beds to get Jojo the other two go nuts... its funny...

Update! ... we went to the vet today and got a clean bill of health... he is 10 weeks tomorrow and weighs a whopping 3.3lbs... so I know he will be a bit on the 7lb side I think? Is that right? it doesnt matter I just want to know what to expect... I am glad I got him b/c my daughter is all over him... he will be nice and sturdy for her to play with... :)

Happy to hear you have a perfectly healthy pup! Zeus weighed the same at 10 weeks now at nearly 15 months he is 7.1 lbs. He is the perfect size for us. I am sure yours will be too.:)

I like them on the larger side. I like for Joey and Cabella to jump in and out of the car instead of having to be lifted and put down on the floor/ground. Oh well, I guess if they were only 3 lbs I wouldn't mind lifting them out and putting them in the car either. They are just like skin kids, it doesn't matter what they are, they are still OURS..... And WE LOVE THEM!!!!!!!
