Don't you hate when you call your dog?
 
Don't you hate when you call your yorkie and they are standing right there next to you and they don't even bark to let you know? Brandi is my shadow so when she is not in the same room with me I always call her to make sure she isn't doing something she should be doing.

Anyway, most of the time while I am running around calling her she is usually standing right behind me giving me this look like "I'm right here". She never barks to let me know she is behind me. Brandi's not a barker.

Last night for example, I woke up in the middle of the night and Brandi wasn't laying next to me, I started calling her name, no answer (as usuall). I was getting ready to get out of bed and there she was snuggled up by the head board on the pillows. I swear she give this look like "would you please pipe it down, I am trying to get some sleep". She does this to me all the time. I can't get mad at her because technically she is there when I call her she just doesn't acknowledge it with a bark.

The other part is I am a total lunchbox, that my Brandi can be standing right next to me or behind me and I don't see her :(.

There have been many times Bud goes missing. When he's not under
my feet I also go looking for him. I keep the bedroom door closed and the
heat down in there during the day because the room is large and don't
really need it anyhow so I'm in and out several times during the day.
He follows me constantly and goes under the bed when I"m in there
so when I leave closing the door behind me who thinks of him?
Not for a minute or two will I realize where's Bud? He never barks for
me to come get him he would lay next to the door all day waiting
for me to come. Sure enough when I open the door there's that
face:p with a look of, you forgot me again:( This he dosen't bark at
but when I leave for work in the morning you would think I'm never
coming back.:confused:

Haha i had to laugh at this post...cause you're not alone. I do this all the time. I call out Pasquale's name over and over..and my husband is like "Honey, its right behind you!!" I turn around and he's not there...why? Cause he's followed my butt and is STILL behind me LOL

OMG....we mush have the same yorkie. This is Brandi!!!!!! Why won't they just bark and let us know they are behind us? That's all I'm asking.

This is the funniest thing I ever heard. I am laughing so hard because it's so true. They literally do follow your butt :D.

This is so true, they must all be in a conspiracy with each other to drive us mad. I am constantly looking for my two and its always the same I turn around and don't see them, but stand still and look over your shoulder and they are right there:D they are such sneaky little farts.

Hot Rod does this to me all the time, lol. I swear he has a hiding spot somewhere and then all of a sudden he just appears out of now where. lol

This happens to me at least a couple of times a day. Why don't they come in front of us to let us know that they are there? LOL!

That is the reason Gabby wears a collar with a bell on it. I just listen for the jingle.

Brandi has her tags on but when she is standing behind you not doing anything just waiting for you, I can't her tags jingling. Like everybody says, this several times a day almost everyday. I really think she enjoys making me look like an idiot. :mad:

Sugar will come when I call, but she would stand next to me or in front of me. There were a few times she stood behind me when I called her, I nearly stepped on her (OMG we must be extra careful!!), she gave me this look like "I'm here waiting for you to turn back and say hi, stop calling my name again and again!" :rolleyes:

lol i get this but instead of behind me gatsby is almost always in my blanket on the couch or bed or under a coat or sweater on a chair he always gets up and follows me from room to room but i can never see him
