Ok, first I have to say....it DID say that it would be a late valentine's present, but I thought it also said they were 4 wks and would be ready to go in a week?? So maybe he just meant late by a couple of days or so? I was hoping he meant late, like he's keeping them longer. I dunno :confused:

I guess it's the part of the country I live in (and the guy in the ad too), but I know LOTS of people who'd trade a dog for a gun! lol Guns are pretty expensive, especially depending on the type. Just a thought ;)

Definately a type within the ad she says she will knock off 50.00 off 450.00 if u use your own vet. I had to read this carefully too cause i was gonna go into a state of shock of she really wanted 45,000 bucks..LOL....

Truthfully, I can't see how he can be in it for the money if he's selling them for $450! That sounds pretty inexpensive to me....unless of course he's not having dewclaws and tails done. And if he hasn't taken them to the vet at all too, I guess. Hmmm...


He is all about the money! 3 puppies, has no great breeding stock, I doubt he does much testing, if at all! Does no vaccines! $450.00 for a yorkie of this caliber is inexpensive, but he has very little cost in the puppies along with his breeders. If he sells all 3 for $400.00 {with no vaccines} that is $1200.00 for just taking 2 yorkies and having puppies! Room for profit when you breed just to breed!:mad:

Clay has 4 ads posted, all basically the same. 2 mention having the pups to the vet, for tails, and claws.but that is, like at the 3 day mark. A vet can't tell much at that point!
I am Canadian... the gun remark GOT me! lol. What do I know?! lol I am sure they are expensive, and I know lots of guys (I suppose,) that would think a gun for a yorkie would be good! Not MY GUY :rolleyes: !!!

"Read you very ownn words and think about this........How the hell can you keep the bloodline going if they don't breed when it is time. I take great care to whom I sell. I interview the perspective buyer and do follow up phone calls to check. As for 12 weeks, that's hogwash. My VET, who knows more than both you and I has cleared. Besides they are llike humans in that Mama knows when to whine them and we DO get their first sjhots or have the new ownerr get the shots and I check on that too. I do your appeciate your bucket of crap advice..

Hummmmmm he say's his vet cleared the puppies, but what vet would clear puppies to be sold without vaccinations and there is the matter of 5 weeks of age?

I wrote him back too. Probably a waste of time, but I told him I would gladly give him information on good & reputable breeders so he can find out for himself. I also told him unless his vet specializes in toy breeds/ small breeds, he might just not know. And I also told him that a follow up phone call isn't going to do crap. They're not going to tell him, Hey I'm keeping them in a cage and using them as baby machines. :mad::mad::mad:

I just sent an email to her to see how old they are and how much they weigh and what the cost is. I am curious at the response. I really can't believe that she would let them go at 6 weeks........YIKES:eek:

Lots of vets would ok it, remember that vets don't always have breed specific knowledge, and probably don't know the reasons why it's important for yorkies and other small breeds to stay with mommy longer. Many vets and breeders think as long as puppies are weaned, it's ok to take them away from mama. I always shrug when a would-be breeder asks about breeding her dog; they always say, "The vet Okayed it." Usually, the vet is just saying, "Yeah, she has a uterus."

This link has some really great infomation on why it's important for the toy breeds to stay with mama longer. Why do Maltese puppies need to be 12 weeks old before going to a new home??

So sad...that such ignorance is allowed to care for puppies. This logic (or lack thereof) is the reason for the over-population issues, not to mention to blame for many deaths and chronic health problems. My Jasper was let go at 8 weeks, my vet said even that was too young for a Yorkie. We can only hope and pray they are given to good homes with someone to care for them 24-7.

What an idiot!:mad: For goodness sakes, if you can't spell, at least use spellcheck! He never responded to my e-mail, I gave him a few reasons as to why he needs to keep them till 12 weeks, and why they need their vaccines, so he probably thought I was just an a**!

well im sure Amanda can vouch for what im gonna say..........here in the wonderful state of Tennessee...........there are lots and lots of Puppymills........yes........he is just in it for the money.........if you will continue to look at that site you will see he sales pups on there all the time.........i have never seen him sell them for over 600 dollars.........being a backwoods hillbilly has nothing to do with what he is doing..........im sure most would think talking to me that im a backwoods hillbilly...........i just happen to be southern and proud of it.........grammer has nothing to do with being smart...........it is what you do with your knowledge that makes you smart or dumb.............ok.........im gonna get off my soap box now.......this guy kills me.........i read his ads all the time...........that site will not stop it...........cause they get free advertising............lol..............oh well im done now

I can vouch for golsn.com being a horrible site to see ALL kinds of puppies for sale. I only use it to find antiques.;)

As for this little man, he probably doesn't know what kind of dogs they are and wants to get rid of them before anyone can see thier mixes. I, too, sent him an email and have yet to get a response.

I have sent TONS of emails to "breeders" on this golsn.com site and NEVER get a nice respose back. I don't care though because I want them to know someone out there knows the horrible thing they are doing.:mad:
