Who uses band scissors?
 
WE LOVE ours! I just wondered how many of you actually have a pair and use them versus pulling the band out?

I use them. Besides not yanking out hair...it's just plain easier! :p

i use these latex bands that just slides off usually....if not i do use band scissors to get it out...

They are great, better than what I used before - little embroidery scissors.....much less chance I'll snip off hairs!

I really like the band scissors i bought them here from Mimimomo much easier

I have used these for a long time but never realized how great they are for removing hair bands. When I was working as a Visiting Nurse I used these to remove sutures on patients. I must have thrown out a million pair of these great scissors.:(

I love the Madan band scissors. Using them is so much better than pulling the band out and breaking hairs.

Yep, I use them on my girls. I think it's much easier than pulling the band out.

What are "band scissors"? From various descriptions, I think I understand the purpose, but not how they're used or what they look like.

After I cut quite a chunk of my girls hair by removing a latex band with regular small scissors,I figured I better get a pair!I LOVE them.I got mine from mimimomo also! :thumbup:$3 can't beat it!

Here's a picture of the band scissors I sell on my website. See the little hook on the end? You use it to snag the band and pull it away from the topknot before you snip it.

I couldn't live without band scissors!

What an *ingenious* use :D! I have some in my "fish doctorin'" kit that I use for taking gill snips. They have now become "multi-purpose" ;)

I got mine from Ladymom and loved them. I've lost them and I need to get some more but I keep thinking I'll find them. :(
