I worried about that with Hot Rod. He's very possessive of me and is very much alpha. That was a major factor in getting a little girl as well as I wanted to be able to put bows in her hair. lol |
If you are happy with Louis's breeder, I would contact the same breeder. Although just because they are related doesn't mean they will have the same personality. |

I've heard a lot of people say that you should have one of each sex, instead of two of the same. We listened to them because we originally had Bandit who is a little possessive and has aggressive barking issues. However, as soon as we brought our female into the mix (after a few days of Bandit giving her the cold shoulder lol) she was the boss!! Nala mostly plays with male dogs (our yorkie Bandit, Jackson (Britsters yorkie) and our friends black lab) Overall, I really think it depends on the dogs. |

I suggested that, in case you did plan to breed them. That way, the gene pool would be more spread out, if that makes sense. That's great you plan to spay/neuter! |

LOL That's exactly why I got a girl first-I love to dress her up, although I don't do it as much lately. |

I am considering adding another myself . I have a male just over a year old . Very protective or posessive , whatever you call it . He is my first yorkie ever. I love him much . He is very submissive to my blue heeler that is female (outdoor dog) but I worry how he would act if I added another . I have the opportunity to get a yorkie/poo in March . Female . I am considering as that is what I actually wanted in the beginning . But I hate for Max to not like her . Or have real aggression issues . He has those now with my son who is 14 . All he has to do is walk past my chair while Max is on my lap and wow its on ! I dont know how to correct that behavior . Any ideas on that would be greatly appreciated . And its also when Max(yorkie) is on my bed and my son walks in the room . I am trying to get ideas from you all . Please Help ! |
