Lulu Had Her First Sub....Aye Yie Yie... well....surely this wasn't a great move on my part but....one of my kids left a subway sandwich out in spite of my constant warnings about leaving anything out at all....and lulu, being no dummy, chowed down on it. she is showing no signs of trouble so that isn't the problem. the problem is, i freaked out so badly hollering at my son he took off running upstairs in tears. i apologized for freaking out. he came out of his room and has apologized a million times for the sandwich. he's been holding lulu ever since as if he's afraid to take his eyes off her. she's milking that for all it's worth, of course......probably hoping for another treat. it's always something..... |
I'm sorry you're son is in distress, but that made me laugh so hard! Lulu had a great feast and I bet she would like seconds. These little stinkers.... |
I just freaked out about milk. lol. What all was on the sandwich. |
LOL!! I'm sorry, I think it's funny because it reminded me my younger brother and I. :p Very often I shouted at my brother when my brother comes to tease Sugar (who's resting on my laps), I worried Sugar would fall down because she likes to jump when people teased her. Soon after that I feel bad for shouting at him, and try to be nice like sweet talk...but he never learns. Hahaha |
On second thought.. Okay, this is the serious one. 3 months ago my sister dropped a chocolate on the floor, she didn't realize it until Sugar found it. Sugar ate half of it by the way I saw. I sent her to animal hospital right after that, Sugar stayed there for a night. You might think I was over worried, but my cousin's maltese died a week before the incident, died of choking... Nobody aware the maltese grabbed a big piece of fruit on the plate, he didn't chew it, he swallowed the whole piece...struggled for long time before they reached the vet.. That was very sad.. :'( Since then, I'm very careful and pick up anything on the floor which I think Sugar might want to chew on it |
you guys crack me up! :D it's so good knowing my little "freak outs" will find an understanding audience around here! as for what was on the sandwich....fortunately my son is a picky eater and it was mostly chicken with a few pieces of pepperoni. lulu never did show a single sign of trouble. i don't think my teenagers will ever let their younger brother live down the fact that he "almost poisoned" mom's baby!! ;) |
Glad LuLu is ok. Hope son feels better too. Now you know son won't leave any more food out:) |
So glad she is okay!!!!! Oh, freakouts???? lol I think you have come to the right place to discuss that...I have had mine, and come in to the forum begging for help..lol... |
You had me sitting here feeling sorry for your son.:D I'm glad Lulu is fine.:) |
