Royal Canin for Princess, and anything she can get her paws on when she thinks I'm not looking! Paper, TV control, purse, car keys!!! :D |
Samson eats Innova for puppies |
Royal Canin Puppy 33 for free feeding, I was feeding science diet wet puppy food at night and they only ate it so-so. I wasted soooo many cans of expensive dog food till I discovered the Natural Balance brown rice and lamb dog food ROLL-I couldn't figure out what everyone was talking about before with the "Rolls" then saw them in Petsmart and the light went on! Both of the dogs love it. I slice off one piece and chop it up for them. They actually act like "real" dogs and go after it like it's filet mignon! Great for picky eaters. |
By the way....does anyone know how to pronounce "Canin" in royal canin? It's always a source of "hmmmm" to me. Is it like "K-9" or do you give it a french lilt "ca-neen". I hope somebody knows so I don't sound stupid the next time somebody asks what they eat while I'm in petsmart....right now I just point and say "that stuff". |
I use Innova Evo for my oldest (a poodle mix) and am in the process of switching my new little Yorkie girl over to it. |
Lily's Mom, I feed Scooter BilJac. That is what the breeder sent me home with. He didn't seem to care for it too much....but that may have been the stress of the car ride and the new home. He seems to eat it fine now. Not sure if I will switch him to something else or not...I'll just have to wait and see. Good luck....hopefully your baby will end up liking it. Tina |
I feed Diamond Lamb and Rice and Nutro Lamb and Rice. For some reason they like the different shapes....Some days they eat all the squares first, some days it's the round ones.... |
I feed Baby Bil-Jac. She LOVES it. I free feed her and she eats about twice a day, and poos either once or twice. This is the food that the breeder sent me home with, the only swtiching that has been done is from the puppy to adult formula. |
i JUST got back from the vet and he said that I made an excellent choice by feeding Maggie Nutro :) I was very happy to hear that. Thanks to everyone here, I've learned so much and have been able to make great choices when it comes to my baby. |
both of mine eat Natural Balance-Duck an Potato Chris |
Solid Gold and we would feed the wee bits if they would carry it in our stores :) |

But I wonder how they pronounce "Royal?" |

I am Glad that others feed this since this is what we feed our Danes also. The Danes can not have corn so this worked best and it was smaller peices so it worked for Snickers also and was happy about it. |

I started about a month ago feeding mine Nutro Ultra it's a holistic dog food all natural ingredients. They absolutely love it. I've had no problems with diahrreah or vomiting from any of them. |
We are feeding Lilly Eukenuba Dry (soaked) and mighty dog wet, but we will eventully switch to Science Diet when she gets alittle older. |
Royal Canin here , thats ROY-AL KAY-NIN . :grin2: |
Canidae here. They all seem to like it. :) |
Mine are eating a mix of Nutro Natural Choice Lamb & Rice and Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul. I've tried a bunch of dog foods and they all start out great but then Tuffy just starts not being able to tolerate them so we switch. Right now the combo is working great. As for poop. they poop after each meal which is about 3 times a day. |
Eukenuba- Maintenance small breed/small bite. :) |
Huey eats science diet puppy small bites. He loves it, although he would like anything anyone else is eating. |
I feed my dogs nutro ultra wet puppy food, and nutro dry food as well, I like it because the wet food actually smells like a human food and it has real veggies and there are no meat by-products. They love it! I am however having a hard time with treats, they love treats by they like the fattning kind that are like soft chews. anyone have any suggestions on chewier snacks that are a bit more healthier? |
Stomper is currently on Innova Puppy but I'll soon need to find a good adult food. Boy...I can't believe how many foods our yorkies are eating!!! Lots of them... Since we are on this topic. I have a question for you all. Stompers #2 is always soft never hard. Someone told me it could be the food. Do any of you expereience this? If so, what food did you find stopped this from happening? I want my little guy to have a "healthy" #2!!!!! |
Royal Canin is left out for my 3 all day & I feed them a teaspoon of Mighty Dog Gourmet Dinner & a teaspoon of cottage cheese everyday as a treat! But Lexi's favorite thing to eat is my cell phone antenna and Tia eats just about everything else in my house including the walls! Max is a good boy though! |

My puppy attacks this food. She loves it. |
Royal Canin for Gracie and Boodah, they love it!!!!!!!!! |
The breeder gave me an 8lb container of ProPlan Puppy chicken & rice formula, and when we went to our visit w/ the vet, he gave me 2 additional 8lb containers of the same puppy ProPlan. So, my pups have enough food to last quite a long while. |
I feed Gabbi Natures Best. She has maintained a good weight on it and she loves it. In the morning she gets a Science Diet light treat. |
Gucci eats Canidae and Natural Balance beef or lamb n rice meat rolls. :) |
When Lexi came from the breeder she was on Eukenuba, I switched her to RC, then found out it was fatting so I switched her to Chicken soup. Well since I have switched her she is itching so bad. I went today and bought her Nutro Lamb and rice.If that doesn't help she will go back to the Eukenuba, that is what she was on the longest and never itched.. |
