Well, she knows if she goes and whines by him, he'll just ignore her, so now she knows to go by me! When she was a puppy I would leave her collar on so I could hear her move around, and if she was moving around that must mean she had to go pee. Well, bf was the one who said, take that collar off so I don't wake up everytime she moves! She's gotten back in the habit of needing to pee at 4am again. :( |
Cute stories:p Sophie does many of the same things but she also will walk on her back legs hugging my leg as I walk with her front paws holding a toy in her mouth making this "gong, gong, gong" sound until I stop whatever I'm doing to play with her. If I'm on the computer she will bring me every toy in her toy box one at a time and lay them at my feet and look up at me as if to say, "Okay which one will you play with me with?":p Sophie is a proficient pick pocket. Her favorite score is a tissue out of my robe pocket. She's priceless:) |
Puddy, the spin flipper My Puddy, short for Yorkshire Pudding, aka Puddy Pukashell of NYC, is a new rescue from a North Carolina kill shelter - just here two weeks today. What she does that I find cute is her spin flip. She was supposedly a puppy mill dog that had an owner and ended up almost walking the green mile. Anyway, when she is really excited, she doesn't just do an ordinary running in circles nervously move like puppy mill dogs do, no, she actually makes her whole body spin in a flipping fashion while wagging her tail, and burying her head, then going back to the spin flip. Really neat. Like I said, Puddy is a newbie, so I barely know her real self yet, but I like what I do know- she's friendly, house-broken with great communication about going out, like scratching at my leg super cute! Yep, Puddy's cute. Have a great day! |
Puddy sounds super cute. Would love to see his photo:) WELCOME TO YORKIETALK!! |
My Izzie does two really cute thigs. she gets in her toy box and drags out alot of toys. She then put them all in a line or she puts them in a circle and gets in the middle of them like she's in her "Circle Of Friends". The other thing is she has a plush toy that has the head of dog and a long skinney body like a snake and she gets on him and rides all over the living room. They are such smart little animals.:) |
OMG! OMG! Thor chased his tail tonight, for the very first time ever! I think the hair on his tail is longer than it's ever been, and now he catches a glimpse of it out of the corner of his eye. It was hilarious, and kind of fitting, given the debate going on about tail docking. I really hope I get to see it again, because I would love to make that into a trick. |
Bonnie has started doing something cute. After she uses the potty pad she goes over to the bathroom rug and does this little kicking thing. It looks like she is wiping her feet.:D |
I noticed that Uni will only cock her head towards the right, she won't do it towards the left. |
I'm pretty sure I've read something about that, though I thought most dogs went right. I'll have to check.... |
I'll put Lewie on my lap (with this tummy facing up and he's on his back) - when I comb out his hair on his hind legs and his tummy, and he gets so comfy he starts to fall asleep all spread apart on my lap. it's the cutest thing ever. |

This morning (after waking me at 5am) my three were all asleep on a huge cushion I have for them in front of the fire. Odie the youngest and biggest was laid there cudding his little toy. I tried so hard to creep out of the room to get my camera, but when I moved they did. Sigh!! It would have made a lovely photo. Hugs Shirl x x |
New cute thing! Kaji pinned for his cute girlfriend. Aww... puppy love! |
Sophie won't eat the tiny organic peanut butter bone-shaped dog biscuits I bought her... she just trots around with them in her mouth until she finds the perfect spot to hide them. If I come over to where she's hiding the treat or even LOOK AT HER hiding it, she snatches it up and goes to find another hiding place. (Apparently it hasn't dawned on her that I'm not very likely to take the treats since I'm the one GIVING them to her! :-) When she finds the perfect hiding spot, she puts the treat down and scoots her nose on the carpet again and again like she's burying the treat, lol. Lately here favorite place to hide treats and toys is the bed. Just tonight I moved a pillow and found a dog biscuit and her stuffed cheetah. There have been many a morning when I've woken up to a hard dog toy underneath me because I didn't realize she brought it into the bed. |
