Pack of Yorkies: My Dream Come True! Finally I get my wish and will have a pack of Yorkies! :aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork Okay, I'm only petsitting, so I will have a pack for a week, but I'm super excited! It will be a great way for me to see what it's like to have more than one dog in the house. Hopefully it goes well and I'll be able to convince DH to let me rescue a Yorkie here in Korea. (It's so sad ---- there are hundreds of Yorkies in shelters here. It just breaks my heart.) The dogs belong to a woman I met through Animal Rescue Korea. One is her dog and the other is a dog that she rescued from a shelter and is fostering until she finds her forever parents. I'M SO EXCITED!! I'll post pictures once they arrive. :) |
Sounds exciting! I hope it all goes well and you get to add another to your family soon! |

Sounds like it will be fun for you. Let us know how it goes.:) |
4 Attachment(s) The Yorkies are here! The Yorkies are here!!! Holy cow, Meg is having the time of her life already, and they've only been here for an hour. I do'nt even want to go to bed, just want to keep playing with them all. Plus I'm really unsure of how bedtime is going to go with 3 Yorkies in the bed?!?! The tiny one is already conked out in a doggie bed so maybe she will stay there. The dogs: My Meg - 5 lbs and full of energy Shiggy - 7 lbs and super fun for Meg to play with Maddie - 3 lbs, elderly, and has bad eyesight, so she doesn't play much. She's a super cuddler though! It's so funny... the dogs all lined up are like Small-Medium-Large. It's too cute! I'll take some video tomorrow but here are some photos for the time being. |
They are all so cute!!! Glad to see Maggie enjoying her new furry friends. Maddie looks like a sweetie, is that the one looking for a foster home? |

For anyone following this thread, OMG ---- bedtime was crazy last night!!! How do all of you with multiples do it? Meg and Shiggy just wanted to play and kept rolling and wrestling. I left Maddie in her doggie bed since she was already conked out and I was nervous about her falling off the bed. Meg and Shiggy were in bed and would act like they were starting to fall asleep, then bam! one would get the other going. Poor DH had to sleep on the couch! :p Eventually I put Shiggy on the floor. He hasn't figured out the doggie stairs yet, so he whined for a minute before going and getting into his dog bed by his foster sister. Phew. We all slept peacefully --- finally! |
can't wait to see pictures! |
looks like Meg and Shiggy is having a staring contest in the last picture...so cute! |
Wow, what a bunch of cuties:) I can just imagine the rumpus they'd make at bedtime--just like kids when they have a sleep-over! I sometimes think of getting another furbaby (especially since it breaks my heart to think of lost little souls in shelters) but I will probably wait until our last kid at home moves out and We move to a different place. I love the peace and quiet we have at this location but hope to down-size so I spend less time Cleaning and more time playing with Sunshine:) |
Thanks for posting the pics of them. It sounds like it was a lot of fun for you. It's really nice of you to foster them, too.:) |
