Yorkie Dictionary What words do your yorkies know? I'm fixing to get a checklist going, to help choose well, within the '150 word limit' or whatever. |
Don't forget they know names, too, so does that go within the 150 or so range or in addition to the 150 or so range?:D |
Treats, potty, bye bye, sit, wait, and of course their names. "daddys home" they all go running to the door for that one.:animal36 |

Treat, potty outside, daddy's home, momma, no, sit, lay down, walk, kisses, down, ride and all her toys names like ball, bear, kong, tug, bone, etc. (too many toys to mention:p) |
Daddy's home, where's Daddy, big brother (my son), medicine, brush teeth, walk, go, sit, shake, Mommy has to work, kiss, bath (he'll take off), wash face, go for a ride and potty, to name a few. |
Let's see: sit, stay, lay down, treat, bully stick, let go (this sometimes takes three times saying), food, water, stop, later, five, and goodnight. In addition to English, she understands Spanish as well :D. So far, she's got three of the aforementioned words down solidly. |
Nummies, baby, brush, nightie night, birdie, hungry, good girl, snack, in addition to others already mentioned! They also know how to tell time! They know within 5 minutes of breakfast, dinner and snack time! |

Chloe practically understands everything I say, even if I speek slowly to my mother and try to hide things from her, she immediately understands no matter how I change the words. I think it all depends on how much you speak to your yorkie. Don't estimate them, they can be much brighter than you think!! |
