That is so cool. I also love playing around with pictures. |
Thanks everyone for the kind words!!! To answer the questions: Thorsmomma - I purchased the Canon Digital Rebel about two years ago & received the Photoshop Elements 2.0 software with the camera. I just upgraded my camera  to the Canon 20D & the SAME software was included with it. Julz - I have loved seeing all of your pictures using your creative software. In fact, after seeing some of them I have gone into Photoshop to see if I can figure out how to do some of your techniques using my software!! :D Marie & Skeeter haven The tutorials that I have just recently discovered (including the filmstrip) are located at: http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com...r/elements.php They also have a forum where people post questions & share various techniques!! Great info! alaskayorkie - Thanks for the compliments on the pictures. I love my Digital Rebel camera & am excited to start using my new Canon 20D - they take great pics, but I find myself wanting more & more lenses! I, too, love that picture of Kodah & Paisley's first meeting. Paisley was so scared of Kodah the first couple of weeks & that is exactly how she would look everytime Kodah came near her. Now they are glued at the hip!!! Sherry Lynn - I bit the bullet & ordered the new Photoshop Elements 4.0 software along with the video editing, too! Should be here next week! The website I mentioned above has tutorials for the new 4.0, too!! I almost splurged for the CS version but feel like it has WAY TOO MUCH (especially graphics) & I have my hands full with Elements!!! I keep learning new things on it everyday!! Yorkiemom1970 - Depending on how much you want to do, I have loved the Photoshop Elements 2.0 software - & now they have just come out with Elements 4.0 - to start out with. It has SOOOO much you can do & takes a while to master (I'm still trying after MANY MANY months - so I hesitate to get anything more advanced than this right now!! ) THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE for your sweet words! I think taking pictures & photoshopping has become an addiction to me! I have taken many wedding, Christmas, & various pics for people & then go to town with them in Photoshop. I have several projects I am currently working on for some friends & family. My husband says I need to start charging - but then I think that would take some of the fun out of it for me! I have to start working on Kodah's photo for our Christmas card exchange!!!! :D |
1 Attachment(s) You mentioned you're always searching for ways to display hundreds of pictures, and I thought you might find the below Web site interesting. It's a step by step approach on how to create a 20 x 30 inch poster of about 100 of your favorite pictures, all sized 2" x 3". I've attached the one I did, but it looks like crap shrunk to YT display size. The real poster has sharp pictures that look about wallet size. I also screwed up, so all of the pictures aren't the same size. The only downside is you need iphoto in mac for the easiest way to do it. I believe in the comments area they show you how to do it in photoshop, but my memory is that you need the full-blown photoshop, and not elements. Anyhow, it's worth checking out even if you don't do it. http://www.mikematas.com/2005/01/how...fe-poster.html |

Thats cool. I have photoshop and image ready and I have no idea how to do that picture frame thing. So neat! |
good job! looks great & professional! i have photoshop too but i have no clue how to use it! ;) |
Rachel, I've always loved your pix! Thanks for sharing the info. If I wasn't so broke I'd love to have a Canon Rebel! |
Wow, Rachel...that is one of the coolest pics I've EVER seen! What a keepsake you have created! Kodah is darling in each and every pic...I love that filmstrip and the way it is in color with the background being gray scale...opposite of what it would be...tooooo coooool! |
Rachel- That is so cute! I love, love, love Photoshop. You should go with the full version of the program one of these days. I have CS2, but I know I'm only doing a fraction of what the program is capable of. Don't you lose so much time just playing?! I love the film strip effect- it's so easy and yet looks so professional! |
Kodah is BEYOND cute! I think I am going to have to pick of Photoshop Elements....with 2 small children and 2 furbabies, I'm always taking pictures. I love that picture with the frame. You are going to have to tell me how to do it. :D |
That is too cute!! I'm impressed!! You should make a Kodah calender and that can be the front cover. :D |
Thank you so much for the tutorial! That was sweet of you! Quote:
