I know I have to be crazy but I am considering adopting a second Yorkie! I think I have been bitten by the yorkie bug :p

Here is the little girl I am considering adopting. She is 4 months old. What do you guys think? I had planned on waiting a while and saving up money to buy a puppy but... this little ones face just got me.

i've been planning to add another yorkie to my family too - i tell my friends they are like lays potato chips - you can't have just one!

how old is your yorkie?

She's adorable, some would think you're crazy if you don't get her :) Watch out though or you may end up being one of us "crazy dog ladies"!:D

Molly is 2 years old. We just recently adopted her. I would love for her to have another baby with her same energy level to play with lol. Toby loves her but he is not so much into running and playing with her.

4 months IS a puppy :D

Our yorkies are two years apart and I did not want to wait to get a second becuase of the difference in enegy levels if you wait too long. We had our first Yorkie for 13 years before we got ms Daisy, and although she had him acting like a puppy again, he only lived for another year, and he could obviously not keep up with his little sister (who however hard he tried, he was unable to dominate):D. The pipster usually was in the mood for a nap after 5 minutes of play with his new sister!

Two are more than twice as fun at one, for sure. Just be sure you can afford it as the acquisiion cost is small compared to the total ownership cost of getting a pet, as you probably realize:).

I just had to reply to this post. If your crazy then I am too as I had a border collie for 14 years and never felt the need for another dog, however since getting Tia (18 mths old ) I feel she needs a playmate. Don't get me wrong she has lots of friends we regulary see but at the moment Im looking after my mums poodle for a month and she has been so accepting into our home eg sharing her things and snuggling with him that I have made the decision to get her a brother or sister this summer :D

I have been thinking about it too! The thought of house training another Yorkie makes me forget it! It took 7 months to house train Lexie. She just turned 1 and she has been reliable for about a month now. If they came already programmed for the yard I would have a house full!!!!!!!!!

She is soooo cute I would go and get her. This is how I ended up with 3. The parents of my male Hobbes had a litter 6 months later so I just had to go get one of the puppies. My first 2 were 13 weeks when I got them. Calvin is now 16 weeks and he is wonderful. 4 months is still a puppy, it has been so much easier since all of mine are under 1 year old.
