What color is her coat???

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what color is my girls coat? Is it considered blue/gold, silver etc...?? I was thinking black/gold but I see some silver mixed in there. She is 11 months old, will it get more silver?

I am horrible with the color stuff. I see gold, silver, and looks black in the photo. I do know she is beautiful though!

I can't help you with coat color - but I can tell you she's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!:)

She is still changing but her back looks like it is a dark blue... and gold in the front.:) She is not done changing, usually the silver on the head will clear out and be more gold or tan. and her back may keep lightening up. She won't be completely done changing till she is 2-3 years old

Did you see her parents, or grandparents? sometimes that can give you an idea.

She is almost exactly the same color as my Maddie is right now, If she were older I would think that they were related:)

I'm no expert either, but I think that is considered blue and gold. Blue refers to a metallic like black that isn't really black/black, but has some type of metallic-like sheen to it, and I notice that in this picture: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...t-dscf0006.jpg. Blue refers to the hair on the saddle, and if you look closely, the hair on the saddle doesn't really have any silver, but it's just the way the light hits it. On the face, she still has silver, but that will change in time to a beige, then a gold, and around her muzzle, it's already changed to gold, as evidenced in this picture. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...t-dscf0023.jpg. Just remember the first color refers to the saddle and second to face and head, many go through a silver period on the head the first year of so, and it usually means that they will have a silky coat.

She does look black in some pictures, but I know she will change but to what, lol... Thank You!

Yes, the mother was a steel blue (I think thats what she was) and her father was more of a black/gold, I'm not sure with the color's, but the breeder did say she would be blue and gold.

Wow, 2-3 years? I guess I got a ways to wait then, lol.

Wow, that all makes sense and the breeder did say she beleives she would be blue and gold.
