Glad everything is ok now |
Wow... What a scare! I'm happy to hear that Jasmine is her normal self again :) |
What a scare. GLad she is home and happy. Bless her little self. I know you are so relieved! Pills of any kind inadvertently dropped and FOUND by our yorkies is a real concern. When we visited my elderly parents, I really had to watch Maxwell. They would drop pills, vitamins, candy, you name it. But I can't blame them the time my tiny yorkie Brutus devoured an 6 oz. bag of M&M's that had been left on an end table while I was at work. Emergency vet told us to use peroxide to make him vomit and he lived another 13 years! |
Yes, we were scared and we are so thankful Jasmine is alright. Thanks everyone for your support. We think it might have been possible that we could have dropped a pill and she could have gotten it, again we just don't know. I am retired, therefore I am at home with her all the time, but I know if Jasmine found a frog, and if she could, she would eat it. Again, thanks every one for your support! |
You must have been beside yourselves. So glad that she is okay now. Give her big hugs and lots of kisses. :) |
Wow that must have been awful, I am so glad she is okay! |
It was scary...but I would request a full body check up if I were you, just in case something bad...at least you know before too late! :) |
Sound like a seizure to me. Going totally limp like that and staring with a dazed look is what my girl looked like during her seizures. I would assume if she ate a pill she would of been "dazed" for alot longer then the short period of time. |
Well, now we think it was chocolate related because DH was watching her today and she went into the middle bedroom and got into a bowl of chocolate that daughter-in-law had beside the bed. I am so upset right now. I had heard on here that some people on here had given their little ones peroxide to make them vomit. How much do you give? Please advise. Thank you. |
are little max had low blood sugar and had a seizurie the nite that we got him home but we got him some honey and he perkerd right up and we took him back to the vit where we got him and had some test done and that is all that he could find that was wrong. the vet gave us some vitamate or something like that and it was the last time that anything has happened other then that he is a good dog |
