Hello Hi I've just come across this site so thought I'd say hello before I make any posts. I have had Yorkies for the past 29 years and presently have one, whose name is Sam and he will be sixteen this coming May, he doesn't have a tooth in his head after having to have them all removed but apart from that he's full of life. I've travelled with Yorkies long distance and internationally so hope my experiences may be some help to someone eventually:) This looks a wonderful site and I'm very happy to be here.:) |
Welcome to YT :D Yes...You are going to Love it here!! We are one BIG FAMILY :p |

Welcome!! :p |
Hello and welcome! I have never traveled internationally with my girls and I am hoping to do so one day. As far as "pet friendly" what are your favorite places? When you traveled internationally were you able to keep your pup with you the whole flight?:animal-pa:animal-pa |
Welcome to YT! Post some pics of your baby if you can! |
Welcome to YT!! Fabulous sight with many super great people loaded with knowledge!:) |
Welcome to YT and for sure your travel experience will come in handy here. Not to mention 29 years of Yorkie ownership! |
2 Attachment(s) Wow, thankyou all for your welcomes:) 2Girls, as far as pet friendly goes I haven't found any one particular place I can give that honor to. We travel the states alot, with my husbands work and stay in alot of hotel and motels as well as renting houses occasionally. Of course Sam comes with us and we can be away for months at a time, so it's essential that we find pet friendly places to stay and so far we haven't had any problems. I brought my two Yorkies over here to USA from England where I'm originally from and no unfortunately they weren't allowed in the cabin with us. I'm not sure whether that has changed at all, it was over eight years ago when I brought them over here. Unfortunately we lost Sam's mother "Holly" in 2006 due to heart disease:( Here is a pic of Sam when he was young and one of him now without his teeth. His tongue tends to stick out at times, especially when he's sleeping:) but mostly he just looks like he has a twisted mouth, bless him:) Of course I think he's very handsome and always will:D |
Welcome to YT and I think Sam is precious. I'm rather partial to the older yorkies!:) |
Well what a sweetheart!! His eyes look so clear in that photo - kind and warm I bet he gives good kisses |
