Does your baby "yip" in their sleep? I'm sitting here on YT in the dark, been up since 5:00 and am getting ready to go back to bed. As usual, Bo followed me in here. He must have fallen back to sleep cause I heard these sweet little "yips". It's so cute when he does that. Anyone elses baby talk in their sleep? |
Yeah, I'd pay money to know what they're dreaming about! |
Yes, Yoda does that cute lil' yip too...its soo cute lol |
Yes...and it is JUST ADORABLE ! I love hearing it and always lean towards them to watch them sleep when they're dreaming - it's precious |
I love it too. My schnauzers would dream but they never made that little noise. So cute! |
I just adore catching those moments when Schatzie dreams. It is so funny to watch her "run" in her dreams. She only "yips" now and then, mostly her body moves. I always am hoping she is having sweet puppy dreams and not nightmares. :) |
Ahia does this in her sleep. it is strange....she barks without opening her mouth. |
Jewles make little noises when she sleeps. I think its so cute! |
Rebel does and the first time I heard it, it scared me to death! Now, I think it's precious! |
I think Woody chases the cats next door when he dreams. Bo?...Maybe bunnies. He's scared of those cats, lol! |
BTW, Kimberley, that pic on your avatar is gorgeous! Which one of your pups is it? |
Edgar has done it once, maaaaybe twice since we've had him. (May 05) but our lab is pretty consistent. EvERy NIghT! sometimes it wakes us and we have to say "GANja!" so she wakes and goes back to sleep quietly. maybe it's her age? |
Yes they both do... they will even open their eyes a bit and all you see is white  hopefully they are good, happy dreams :) |
It's so sweet! I would love to know what Princess is dreaming about!!! :) |

Yeah, it did kinda freak me out the first time. I wondered if he was having breathing probs or the hiccups. It's just the sweetest little noise. I love to hear it. |
Yep, Sammie is a yipper. |
Interesting haven't heard this YIP  :D |

I didn't either until yesterday!!! Then I had to come back and find this thread. Stewie did it really loudly last night and his whole body was twitching. Scared the sh*t out of me! |
I agree. They're just dreaming. If they're yipping in their sleep it probably means they're dreaming about playing. Well, that's my guess anyway. I notice that Susan does it more when she's been visiting and playing with her sister. I had a dog one time who seemed to have nightmares. I would wake him up because he seemed to be afraid. But other than that, I've always just let the dogs enjoy their dreams. |

Yip! :D My little chihuahuas all did and so did Muffin and now so does Kacee! If you watch them, they run and sometimes their little ears are moving. They really get into those dreams! |
Yes mine do that. Plus Mickey will stretch and moan and groan, Like a little old man. |
my baby Ginger does that occasionally. I would give a million bucks to know what they are dreaming of! |
Yeah, and he also moves his little feet. I wonder what they dream about? Tigger saw a bird for the first time today so he'll probably dream about it tonight. he he he I love hearing his little sounds. |
My little ones dont do much in their sleep. I have seen them have an occasional dream. My boxer on the other hand, farts alot in her sleep. She farted so loud once she woke herself up. NOW THAT was funny!!!!!!!! :D |
Willie "yips" and twitches in his sleep. Sometimes he snores too, but he's never farted out loud....his farts are all of the silent, lethal variety.....ugh! |
You guys are cracking me up!! Shana, you made me laugh out loud! Thankfully Bo doesn't fart, but my Schnauzer does and his are like Willie's, silent and lethal! I'm always saying "Woody, go away!" |
Mine does the "yip" in her sleep too. But sometimes she'll even have a full out bark and it's scares the crap out of me in the middle of the night. :) |

Not to change the subject... But I am glad Penny's arent silent. Those are the worst. I prefer the warning noise :D |
