Hey everyone....Meet Lizzy...finally my hubby had a chance to sit down and figure how to do the avatar thing.....here she is....my little cleft pallate pup....more pictures tomorrow.....(I won't push it tonight) :love:

Lizzy is adorable and cute. I love her name also. Can't wait to see more pics of your baby. We never get tired of seeing pics. :)

Idenise...she is three weeks old....she has a cleft pallatte...cleft lip...and is a total miracle....she is just a little spitfire...runs circles around her sister and brother....she has to be bottle feed do to the mouth problems but LOVES to eat...she is such a snuggler...she weighs about 12oz...her sister and brother weigh.,,1lb9oz and 1lb13oz...so she is pretty small next to them ....but we love her to death and she will be staying with our family.... :love:

We will work on a slide show with the mom and sister and brother...we just have to figure it out... :confused:

Great Pics. Mom and pups are so adorable. I have a question, does little Lizzy will be needing corrective surgery or can she live fine with a cleft lip? She is beautiful and is great that you are keeping her.

Congratulations! She is gorgeous! I never heard of cleft palate in animals ... but would suppose that corrective surgery would be a simple thing. The most important thing for me would be ... will it in any way hinder her growth/development? Otherwise, I wouldn't give it a second thought ... she is a precious little cuddlebug!! BTW, I love her name too ... that was my Grandmother's name! ;)

Thank you!..Yes she will need surgery when she is older...I'm going back to the vet next week and should know more then...I Know the vet said he is going to refer me to some surgery place in Appleton, WI but thats all i know....will keep everyone updated when I have more info....thanks for the concern.....How could I not keep her....I love and adore her... :)
