OMG I'm so sorry ! I don't know what to say except I am very very sorry for the loss of your husband I feel funny writing this because I know you must be hurting but you asked and my answer is YES. I can't specify yorkies but speaking of dogs in general....I know they do. I know this because my husband was terminal. I really am sorry about your husband. :(:( What a shock this must be for you. You have all my thoughts and prayers. |
So sorry to hear about your husband... my condolonces to you and your family..... |
condolences I am so sorry Please accept my condolences :( |
So sorry for your loss |
I am so sorry for your loss. In my opinion I think dogs can... |
I am so sorry about your husband. You are in my prayers. I think they can sence it. I know when my Dad had cancer Jazzy would go lay at his feet and not move. He wanted to be right with him. It was so strange because Jazzy has always been really shy and doesn't have nothing to do with anyone but me. I do think after a death they will grieve like we do. |
I am so sorry to hear about your husband. :( Hugs to you. I think many dogs in general can sense death. When my Mom passed away when I was young and it was very sudden (car accident) when we got home Sam had pooped in her bed. He had NEVER done this before and actually was not allowed on the furnature and never did get on it except this one time. So I know he knew something had happened. So sad. |
I am so sorry that you lost your husband. A few years ago, I toured a facility for people with dementia. They allowed residents to bring in their pets (I saw a little Yorkie following one elderly woman around wherever she went). They also had a Weimaraner in the facility that "belonged" to all of the residents. There was one wing of rooms that was for residents that had gotten so bad that they were bedridden and needed a high level of care. They were in their last stage of life but might be there months or even a year or more before they died. The people that worked there always knew when someone was getting ready to pass because the Weimaraner would go and lie next to their bed, sitting vigil, and wouldn't leave until they had died. So, yes, many animals can sense death. |
There is a YT member who's Yorkie found her cancer for her. I definitely believe they can sense illness and death. I'm so sorry about the loss of your husband. :( |
I am so sorry for your loss. I think animals can sense illness. I have a chronic condition and when I am having problems Prissy will not leave my sight even to go outside to relieve herself. She is extremely devoted. |
I am very sorry for your loss. It may be that the dogs saw your husband as pack leader. Either way they will sense something is wrong. I do hope you have family and friends near you who can support you. Everyone on here will chat any time you need a friend. Message me if you ever need to chat. |
I am so sorry for your loss. |
First and foremost, I am sorry for your loss. I pray I go before hubby everyday. When I was a kid, we had outside dogs on a ranch. The day my grandpa died they started howling, they werent even in the house! And when my son died, we had two springer spaniels. One would go to the front door and just sit and lean against it for hours waiting for him, the other perched on his bed, the side he slept on. I had to remove his bed right away, for them and for me. I do believe they can sense death for sure. Grab comfort from your yorkies, for I believe they will try to ease your pain, or at least share it. |
I am sorry for the loss of your husband. I think they can sense illness and death |
