why is he marking his brother?? we have two male yorkies, both are fixed. The oldest is Samson, who is 1-1/2 yrs old. Harley just turned one. Harley tends to mark outside only, he is especially bad if we take him to a pet store. He doesn't do it in the house. He recently started to mark Samson. I don't know why he is doing this but Harley tends to pee first and then when he sees Samson peeing he'll run over and try to mark him. Its disgusting and I am not sure why he is doing this. How can I get him to stop? |
My guess is he is trying to mark the same spot as Samson...not Samson himself. My pups all do that...they see one peeing and they run over to go in the same exact spot. The girls and the boys! OK...editing this...as soon as I posted, I came up with a solution. Joking of course...but have to say it. Put a raincoat on Samson when he goes out. :D :p I hope you have a sense of humor. :D |

Maybe you should put this post in the training forum. You might get more advice/suggestions. So many things are posted here that this thread might get lost! |
