Renee, anything I say is just going to be a repeat of what others have said here. I am so sorry you felt the need to offer an explanation, but I am very proud of you for making such a difficult moral decision.

You've made sure that Jazzy is going to a great home where you'll be able to stay in touch. You're going to make a terrific breeder!

Any chance you'll be coming through Tulsa on your way to Texas? :D

YAY! We go to Tulsa to visit family! I will let you know when we schedule our next trip! Jazzy will come with us & we could have a play date somewhere! :)

:thumbup::thumbup: Oh Renee I do know exactly how you are feeling, I had purchased a male pup from a very good line and during his first check up for breeding it was discovered he had high liver enzimes, it was a hard decission but my vet recomended to neutered him and not use him, I also had to rehome him, he now lives with my auntie in her home in PA and travels to our home in Puerto Rico every 6 months to live in a nice warm weather while I fREEZE in NJ.. is part of being a responsible breeder to know that we sometimes might have to face very hard decisions. I comend you for being a GREAT breeder and a responsible one..

I don't know??? How far are you from Ok city? We will be passing thru there!!!!

Oh, I am sorry you had to go through that. It is a hard decision to make, but I think it is best for our babies! Jazzy will forever have a special place in my heart!:)

I know Dana and Van and you couldn't have found a better home for Jazzy! I'm excited to have her be a part of our play group!!

But I must say, is it really necessary to bring that cold Nebraska weather with you?!?!?!!! They have predicted highs in the 20's for later this week. 20's!!!!!! brrrrrrrr. :)

I really don't understand why anyone would question your reasoning/motives behind placing Jazzy. Breeders are faced with these decisions all the time, for a multitude of reasons.

You have done the right thing, spayed and placed her.....unwilling to perpetuate a possible genetic problem, good for you.

I just wanted to throw in that the only reason I felt it was necessary for me to give details is because Jazzy's new owner had been receiving pm's questioning Jazzy's health. One of the greatest things about Yorkie Talk is our members are truly family, we look out for each other - both human and furr. I wanted to make sure the concern about Jazzy's health was based in truth.:)

Nebraska is below zero temps right now!! We thought we would be getting away from this weather!! LOL!!!!
