I can't foster (right now), Bailey doesn't socialize well with others and I don't have a back yard or patio. However, I'd be willing to help monetarily whenever I can... :)

I would love to be able to foster. It is not something I can do right now however, it is definite that we will either foster or rescue or both, in the (hopefully near) future.

I have been informally fostering dogs for years and will continue to do so whenever I can! There is always room in my heart for one more ;)

If circumstances prevent you from fostering (living situation,money,time,etc) Please consider going to your local rescue or shelter armed with some kibble,a nice warm blanket or two and maybe a cozy bed! Maybe you have a yorkie :aimeeyork:animal36who's a finicky eater :rolleyes: and have (several....) opened bags of kibble and or treats? Please remember there are plenty of pups put there who could benefit from your baby's persnickety~ness :D

so true. I live in Texas and it is very well known of people to just dump their pets on country roads. The shelters are swamped, and one in cove is an automatic kill shelter when it comes to pitts and cats. they just have no room. And we only have one no kill shelter that was recently burnt down and rebuilt. We lost like 100 cats and like 50 dogs

From the CA Director for YTNR, "anything" on the Volunteer Application Form that one does not want to fill out, ex: SS# or Work Phone #...just fill in those spaces with all 999's or XXX's.

Did you realize that it just takes "one" person to make a difference in "one" little Yorkie's life by just sharing your home for maybe less than 90 days vs. ending up in a shelter where it's a certain one way street to the Rainbow:rainbow:Bridge!

Come on & help me make a difference in 2010 and join forces with YTNR to give homeless & abandoned Yorkies a furever home with a furever family!

You can sign up to volunteer in any capacity whether it be to foster, do home inspections for prospective new Adoptive families or even transporting Yorkies from High-Kill Animal Shelters to a Foster home near you.

So much can be done, even if you can't foster, you can help by doing home visits, organization of adoption fairs, etc.

whatever your talent, you can help these poor creatures...Foster homes are overloaded now, these are wonderful little yorkies than need homes!
