That toy is bigger than she is! She is soo precious and I hope she is doing great! |
She is sooo cute. I know how excited you are & what a big step forward she made. I have a rescued little girl, too. So far, she has showed no signs of playing w/toy. I'm going out tomorrow and get her one. Thanks for the idea. |
aww how sweet! and that is a break through |

Update: this thread was started at Christmas time. Awesome that it has come back up, Jada still carries her "yellow dog" with her and we have a game with it every night. Bogie gets his ball and Jada gets yellow dog and we run and chase each other through the house. It is just too cute to see her running with that big ole dog through the house, I chase her and then she will turn around and chase me. I almost gave up hope that she would play and now she is making up for lost time. |

Maybe you can post a video of that? Why to come back Jada! |
Awww this is just wonderful! So glad that Jada likes to play with her toy now. You've done a wonderful job of bringing her around. She's a lucky girl and so are you.:) |

Aww! That brings tears to my eyes. Jada is ridiculously cute carrying around that huge loofa dog in her mouth! :D I have a puppymill rescue and many tears were shed the first time she tried to play with toys. It's still so fun to watch, and we still sometimes watch in amazement when she plays. Jada is so lucky to have found such a good home willing to spoil her! |
I know exactly how u feel about your break through. It's the same feeling I get whenever Diji pees on his allocated newspaper. Congratulations! |
It does brings tears to your eyes when you think you have to teach a dog to be a dog. So sad. It's wonderful she had this break threw. It's all your hard work that made it happen. I am so very happy for both of you. Her doggy friend is as big or bigger than she is.:p |
Oh my goodness how cute. |
4 Attachment(s) Aw Congrats! I know that joy too! My little Mo was 3 when I got him and was like an old man. He would just stare and would not touch a toy. 3 years later, he is like a little puppy and plays all the time. I posted pix a while ago from the time I got him until present day. Not only has his personality/playfulness changed but his physical appearance has too. I'm sure you probably have seen that in Jada as well. Love goes a long way! :animal-pa Congrats and celebrate! :cheer::clapsmile:cheer::clapsmile:cheer: (I decided to post my pics again-first 3 are from when I first got him (he was rehomed)the last one is a current picture) |
Oh my goodness he is gorgeous. He does look sad in those first 3 pics and what a transformation. In that last pic you can see a mischievious little twinkle in his eyes, he looks so loved and happy. I think,to me at least, that it is so rewarding to watch these little rehomed and rescued guys come out of their shells when they finally realize they are loved and in their forever home. |
