help me please im really worried about my dog I just got of the phone with the vet. I called because my 9 month old puppy has this white creamy stuff coming out of you know where. The vet told me that it isnt normal. but i cant afford to take her to the vet. What could it be and how could this have happened. Yesterday was the first time ive seen it. I guess if it gets worry im going to have to take her. Anybody know what this could be ? |
How is she behaving? Is she eating, playing, acting normally or is she acting sick? You may try to call another vet office and explain your fianncial situation and ask them if this is a symptom for soemthing you could research on the internet. I think most vets have outside financing available for you to take advantage of in an emegency. |
Is her noo-noo swollen, and has she been spayed. Lexi had this happen and I took her to the vet and they told me she was in heat. |
I can imagine how worried you are, hopefully you will be able to talk to your vet about your financial situation so he can work with you on the cost. OR there might be a low cost clinic in your area, you can start by calling your local animal shelter and asking them if they can refer you. Good luck with your little girl, I will say a prayer for her and hope she is all better really soon. Please keep us posted, I'll be keeping her close to heart. |

we call it her ouhh, ouhh... hard to spell it how we say it. Is there a chance she is in heat? does she have a fever? will the vet take payments for now? |
The names we call it. LOL (noo-noo is pronounced like new-new) I'm sure you all knew that though.. |
If it's coming out of her hoo-hoo, could be that she's going into heat. Is she swollen? |
At 9 months it could very well be her first heat. Lets hope so anyway. I hope she keeps us posted. You all have such funny names for down there, Too Cute!!!! :D |
Ok, Im assuming you mean vaginal discharge so I found this info for you. I will definitely try to find a vet that will work with you financially. I hope is nothing serious. Please keep us posted. |
Perhaps you can work something out with the vet ? I hope your baby is going to be ok...that doesn't sound good to me but maybe it's something minor that medication will help clear up ? GOOD LUCK !!!! I hope she's going to be ok - |
thanks Im hoping its just her coming into heat. Im not going to take her to the vet to tell me that. If it continues than ill go. She has never gotten her period so maybe it is. It doesnt smell and its not green or anything. its just right on it just a little drop, My poor baby. |
I wouldn't panic just yet. Wipe the area with white toilet paper and see if the discharge is actually "white" or if it is more of a light pink. If it is not white, but is pink (has small amount of blood mixed in), then she is more than likely in heat. Being in heat is when they do bleed (what you are referring to as her period). You should see some swelling as well. Please check and see what color the discarge actually is and we'll see if we can help you out with more info. |
