I have got to post this!!!!!!

YL'ers I know I am new and I am the one who posted about my very vvvvvery tiny baby on this site! Which I have decided to keep and posted that for evryone to know!

Anyway, This has turned CRAZY!!! I have requested the admin remove all of my info ASAP! I have had so many prank calls that I am no longer answering my phone if it shows a private, unknown, or out of town number!!!!!!!

I had no clue posting a puppy and trying to meet new yorkie lovers would cause people to act this way!

I am so ashamed of the way some of the members here behaved toward you and it is terrible that they are taking advantage of your phone number to harass you. Please know that those few do not represent the majority of this board.

Your little guy is too precious for words and neither he nor you deserved the harsh words that some posted.

Despite what anyone thinks of you or your baby, what is happening to you is waaay out of line. I am sorry you are having this happen to you.

Yes what Kim said is right. we are a group of people who love to share about our yorkies. The people I have run across on YT are kind and considerate, and I do like sharing things with them. We had no right to be so inconsiderate of you and your puppy. I'm jumping in after missing most of the "fiasco" but I do want to say that I am sorry you were treated so harshly here.

What a shame... some people just don't know how to act. I am sorry that you have had to go through all the harrassment --
Its really a shame we can't just get on a forum and talk about the very thing the forum was set up for. I sympathize with you and wish you the best of luck.
Oh.. I PM'd with someone who was considering buying your little guy today and she was very sad that it wasn't going to work out. She seemed like she would have been a good one. I have a teeny tiny 10 oz. chihuahua with an extrememly large open fontannel and due to that.. I am a nervous wreck around her. lol There IS something special about these teeny tiny ones though. I also wanted to get it out in the open, before it comes up, that I had initially posted that to me, it looked like the dog needed a bath. I am very sorry for saying that and apologize if it offended you. I posted that before I looked at my own two dogs -- yours looked much cleaner than mine did! LOL So I hope there are no hard feelings. I believe when you say something - intentionally or not -- that hurts someone's feelings, you should be big enough to apologize and that is what I am doing to you.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your little one. He is lucky to have such a caring owner.

I agree with what Jodi said. I am so sorry people on here have behaved this way. I love Yorkies and love this forum because its a place where I can share experience with other yorkie lovers. It should be the same for you. I hope you decide to stay and that things work out.

Karmen I was just reading some of the "hoopla" from that post and a lot of it was members going after one another's opinions. I think everyone should be entitled to their own opinion and not attacked for what they believe in whether we agree or disagree. It is just that a opinion and they are like "belly buttons" we all have them. I am not getting in the "Great Debate" All, I can say is that I am sorry that you are being attached outside of this forum, :eek: there is no good cause for that. We are all entitled to our personal time and there is no good excuse for that.... :( Members expressed themselves and their thoughts on this forum and it should be left there, not harrassing people on the phone, it is uncalled for. I would hate to think if I shared a opinion that others didn't like that I would get phone calls of this nature. :thumbdown I think everyone needs to regroup and understand Karmen is a person with feelings, despite what you are feeling. "Treat others as you would like to be treated."This can be done without being ugly to one another.... :p

Its a shame someone misused your phone number like that. YorkieTalk is a great site full of yorkie lovers and even though we have differing opinions I'd hate to think one of our members would do such a thing. It is possible but then again this is a public site so technically even guests have a access to all that is written. I am glad you were able to remove your contact information, I once received a harassing email and never figured out where it came from.

I am glad you found us and am sorry for the rough start you had. I hope you stay on YT and share your little guy with us, he's made such an impact on us all already and we'd love to watch him grow on the forum.

WOW, even though i do not agree with breeding for tinies either, harrasing you at home is out of line! i hope that those making these calls grow up, and stop acting childish, if they have something to say they should just pm you or something... but to start interferring in your "personal" space like your home is way out of line, i know i would be really upset. so i do understand your anger.

I don\'t apologize for pointing out what appeared to be red flags, I DO apologize if I made Karmen feel unwelcomed. I\'m sorry, Karmen, and I am sorry that someone is harrassing you. Thats just ridiculous and childish. Please know that there are many kind and helpful people here on this forum. Despite our differences in opinions, we are all passionate about animals and most of us are just trying to help each other out. Speaking out doesn\'t always make friends but sometimes its important to...say something. I wasn\'t trying to hurt you and I do hope you accept my apology.

I REALLY Agree with Jenette here - When a number is posted on the net/forums... all sorts of people have access to it. It\'s the same with Websites selling puppies...People who have their own websites advertising puppies get all sorts of crank emails / phone calls.

There are many many people who are NOT members of yorkietalk that read the site without signing up ...I feel very bad you are getting phone calls but to give members the benefit of the doubt - it could very easily be someone who just reads and never posts here....
