Yorkie day at Daycare!
 
Funny story.....I took the monkeys to daycare today and we walked in and Kim (their groomer) was standing there laughing hysterically! I looked down and there were 7 (yes, 7) other yorkies!!! They were so cute and 2 of them had full tails (adorable)! There were 2 little ones (8 months) and Simon was too cute, he was looking at them like, "hey, you look like me" and then I realized they have never really been around other yorkies until today!
They have a tv set up in the lobby that shows the play room and we all stood around watching them play forever! It was so fun and I told 3 people about YT!!! I hope they join!

Just wanted to share my 7:30am surprise!

I'd love to see that. 7 yorkies at daycare! :D Do you think they really do recognize other yorkies? I always thought they did.

Aww that is so cute. I bet they had a lot of fun playing with the other yorkies. I hope they decide to join us.

We demand video! Or at least some pictures! Gotta have the camera with you at all times with a Yorkie around, right?

Awesome Simon and Hallie met some new furry friends, hopefully their Momma can make some with the Yorkie mommas there too! :p

How cute! SO you stay while your dogs are there? or do you drop them off? There is a place by my job downtown that is a doggy daycare...i wonder if it's safe, clean??? What do you think of this?

OH,,, Doggie daycare...Im so intrigued..... how often do they go? How many dogs are there? How much does it cost... I so wish we had something like that here... I NEED to start it...hmmmmmm... QUit my job,,,,and start a doggie daycare..... :thumbup:

How cute! I do think Yorkies know other Yorkies look like them. Mine go crazy in PetSmart when they see another one! You are gonna have to get video!!!!!!

That is so cute! What a great day care, Missy and Max love playing with other yorkies I just know they'd love it there.

I hope your new friends do join ;) the more the merrier :D

i LOVE daycare! I have been taking Simon since he was 5 months! He is overly socialized ;) I started taking Hallie too and although she would much rather be home it has helped her a lot!

I take them twice a week ($20/day for both), they had to be "interviewed" to be accepted and I totally trust them! There are usually 10 dogs total and a person with them all day! They go for walks, have snacks, take naps (except Simon who wakes everyone up all day)!

I drop them off around 7:30 and pick them up at 4:30 and they are so exhausted from playing all day!

I have always had good experiences with daycare but like anything, you have to research it first and make sure it is clean and that the people will take care of your babies!!!

I will take pics next week when I take them and share ;)

Oh how much fun.........where Dolomite goes to Daycare in the City there a quite a few yorkies and he has lots of fun with them. The place where he goes have webcams and you can check on your dog during the day to see what they are up too................I am glad I am not near my computer most of the time as I would never get anyhting done :) In any case I know he is fine and loves going there as he knows in the morning when we go and gets very excited.
Well it seems to have finallly let up from all the rain :rain: so we are going to try and get outside before it starts up

Hi Andrea! I hear ya about the rain! We got 5 inches yesterday in Albany! I would love to see the webcam, can you share the link? My daycare is working on that! I will never get any work done if I can spend the whole day spying on them ;)

I always get so excited when I see other Yorkie's. Id have a blast being in a room w/ all those Yorkie's that you did Kimberly. :D Total fun and play all the way. :)

I will ask if anyone can see the webcams but I believe you must be a member of Happy Paws to see them as I if remember correctly I think I was not able to view them until we got our memembership but I will ask today I we have to go there to do some party plans for our Halloween Party
