Poop question??~~~ I switched to Nutro. Lamb and rice formula awhile ago,, and I was looking at there site,,, and I noticed this.... Smallest Stool Volume Added beet pulp helps promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Ok I'm thinking I know what this means...,but could someone clarify,, How can it do that?? I have noticed since switching to this food , Bailey doesnt seem to GO as much as before. Is that what it means? makes them go less?? Just wondering. |
Bump... still wondering.... |
Rhonda, I've read the same thing about the food. My two eat it also and that's the main reason I switched. It doesn't seem to be helping in that area, though! |

I use that too, but I did'nt know it did that! |
I haven't a clue but it sounds like it would do the opposite, doesn't it? |

less fillers = less poo I have always heard that the more nutritious and balanced the food, the less waste there would be. So if the food is complete in nutritional value then their body uses it up- and only expels what isn't needed. Since it doesn't contain corn and by-products, there isn't as much to get rid of... Not sure what the "beneficial bacterial" does in the digestive tract  |
