new puggle furbabie?! We are going to go look at getting Pann a little sister today, a puggle(pug and beagle mix). they are still puppies 9 weeks and are rescued dogs. Does anyone else have a puggle? Any advise? they've had their first shots and have been dewormed since being rescued. The bf is super excited and I think it might be good for Pann to have a friend, not sure yet but I'm sure I'll know in my heart when we see them. |
Congrats on the possibility of a new addition. I will let you know from the experience that i have had with that breed is that they are very very active... Let us know what you decide! |
Congratulations! I have never had a puggle but have had a beagle, Otto. They have a natural tendency to roam so if that is a strong urge you should keep a very close eye on your puppy just in case. Otto also had a strong sex drive and wanted to hump everything, lol. Other than that he loved to hunt and was a very loving little guy :) I've never seen a puggle so post pics when you can :). |
Good Luck! Yes, be aware they are very hyper! and they still have the beagle bark to them! but they are cute! :aimeeyork |
they are crazy hyper. Beagle's love to run, howl and be into everything. Pugs are considered "clown dogs" and some Ive known have never settled down. They are great little dogs but they are very busy dogs.. lol.. Congrats, I cant wait to see pics!! |
I love "Puggles!" I think they're absolutely adorable. My mom's friend has one and he's the sweetest most loveable little guy ever. He hardly barks, isn't really that hyper, and is a lovebug. He's really dumb though, LOL! When you ask him to do something, he's kind of just like "duh!" but he's a sweetheart. He eats really fast though! You definitely cannot leave food down all day because he will eat until he pukes. |
Who could not love the face of a puggle? Forget about what your heart says you will love it when you see it, LOL. My folks are trying to find one. Honestly, I don't really support crossbreeding, but this is one case where I think the outcome is an overall great mix! I would love to find a rescue for one of these. |
Puggles are soo cute when they are puppies! I've seen them bigger than Beagles and as small as pugs, so you never know what you'll get :) They are how others have described though....super hyper, but super sweet, and often super slow lol They are probably our worst dogs to try and trim their nails next to regular Pugs and Chihuahuas hehe |
you know what breed is also really cute!? DORKIE! (dachshund and a yorkie) :D |

Wa wa wa wait just a minute! If I didn't know better (well I don't really) I'd think my Moka was part doxi. Her body is really really long, and her legs are pretty darn short for that matter! Her papers say she is a Silky but she is still too long for a silky and a bit short! LOL, |
We got her! The bf fell in love at first sight. Will post pics when I figure out how. So far the 'kids' get along pretty well. the new lil sis is definitely the dominate one tho, she keeps putting Pann on his back:(. Silly kids they'll get used to each other soon enough. |
She's a he!!! oh no!! I just trusted the bf and didn't check cuz he was soooo happy, but she is a he!!! that's what I get for not making sure myself. Now I need advice on how to make sure they don't be too aggressive with each other? any advise for my stupidity would be helpful!!! |
I think Puggles are adorable, how can you not fall in love with those faces!? :p |
false alarm she is a she...i think she's got a thingy that looks like a thingy but thats not. If that makes any sence. |
