My little girl's name is Kai pronounced Ka I ya It means Sea or Willow Tree in Haiwian, I am an ocean freak....Her full name is The Princess of Kai..But latley I think she's a pain in the rear!!! 6 pound BED HOG!!!! Sheesh!!! I almost named her Puka Like a Puka shell. :D

Riley is my neutered male yorkies name. I am planning on getting another (hopefully a female) yorkie and I'll let you know what her name is after i get her. LOL

Jerry is neutered as well...we named after Jerry Seinfeld :)

We adopted a Pom from the Humane Society 2 years ago for Christmas. They didn't know how old he was and I couldn't remember if the white chin meant he was old or young. Turns out, best guess by our vet, that he was about 9 years old, about 11 now. We were looking for a dog to play with the kids, hmmm, wasn't him. Someone was giving away a Schnauzer, female. Ok, she's bigger and kid friendly. Bigger, yes, kid friendly NOT! She didn't bite but she didn't like kids, another disappointment. Her heat snuck up on us and we had Schnerrier puppies. 5 kept one for the kids. Dil took mom. Oh, dang! Forgot names!

Yorkies:
First was: Pirogue, his name came from a Johnny Horton song we were listening to when we went to pick him up. AKC is just Pirogue.
Second was: Lady Galahad, she was supposed to be Cajalina (cage a lina) also from the song but she wasn't a Cajalina. She acted like a Lady tho and on a movie called Labrinth is a muppet that looks like a Yorkie who rides a sheepdog. We thot the muppets name was Lancelot but Lady Lancelot was a mouth full. So we decided on Galahad. Muppets name was Sir Didimus(sp). AKC name is Lady Galahad.
Third was: Autumn Rose, her papers came back Autumn Rose II :( We went thru a lot of names for her on the way home. There was one that I really wanted to use, can't remember it right now. But it was the name of a wine or something like that and I didn't want any "infringement" problems over a name. What we ended up with is the same anyway, Autumn Rose IS the name of a real rose.
Fourth was: AKC "You Can Call Me Mr. Big", we were going to call him Yucan but we found that "you can" is such a big part of our vocabulary that he didn't recognize his name. So now we call him Mr. Big. Or my recent favorite "My little black kissing devil" or "Little black devil".
Fifth was: Unexpected, we hadn't planned on getting her. She is a half sister to Mr. Big. She was already named when we got her, "Mayah's Asia Girl." We wanted to choose a name for her to make her our own and after looking at her and holding her for a little while, I said Lacijo. Something about her colors made me think of lace.
Last but not least is Lady's puppy, Matty. Matty is German and means "Strong Fighter", I can't remember if it was a unisex name or just a girls name. I wanted something that might help urge her to live, I didn't think she would. If you look for my post titled Matty you can see pics of her.

Tatum's reg. name is "Miss Tatum of Wonder Hill". Wonder Hill is the name of our "area" out in the country. Not a subdivision really, just an "area"... :)

A couple weeks ago I asked for name ideas for the red merle Australian Shepherd (female) that we are getting in a few weeks and I think I liked Blaze the best...... BlazinSaddles, probably. My husband is wanting something "western". If anyone out there has more ideas, I'm all ears!

Baby Jane was named after a very old movie " What Ever Happened To Baby Jane Huttson" It all started when we got her. My dad held her and said she looked like a baby. Still birthday was the day after that plus she was my dog I named her Baby. Then a few months later my mom being a big old movie fan. She was watching the movie and then called me. And told me she wanted Jane's middle name to be Jane. Therefore Baby Jane! :p

I have my AKC papers filed away and never sent them in so its not official but this is what we call them..

Max is such a sweetheart, he loves to cuddle and will give you 1,000 kisses if you let him so I call him "Lovey Dovey to the Max" lol

And Missy, we call her "Missy Miss" or "Little Missy".. I have to think of something more creative for her but just havent.. if you have any suggestions let me know ;)

My little bit is named Gidget. She is AKC, but I got her secondhand for free and the woman lost her papers. Her name was Gizmo when I got her but that sounded like a boy name to me so I went ahead and changed it. I don't know what her registered name is.

Finally looked out Lucy's papers, her name is Lucy (obv!), she was reg in the UK by her breeders and the reg name is Alpine Topsy. Pretty!

Our first yorkie was Whitley's Heaven scent love ( but we called her Skully) not from X-files but because when I gave her first bath my hubby said she looks like one big skull.... so Skully it was.....R.I.P.
