but do Yorkie females have a different "look" about them? When I look at pics of yorkies it always seems like lil boys have more of that teddy bear look to them then girls. Is it just me?

I think girls have something in their eyes that makes them look feminine. Haha- I know that may be silly.... but when I look at my little Lucy, she just has really pretty, girly eyes :)

And yes- I feel like boys often have more of the "teddy bear" faces.

I've just noticed Yorkies are adorable, haha. I haven't ever really looked at differences between males and females, but I will have to now...

My Kimbo is short and small, but stout. He feels thick and strong for such a small guy. My friend has a girl and, while she is a bit bigger, she seems so thin and frail. That's the only experience I've had w/yorkies.

I think female have a more feminine look. I cant describe why but they do to me. My Jewels has smaller features than Chachi

I was wondering about the same thing!! I just got a female yorkie and she definitely looks different. She doesn't have that teddy bear look, but she has that ladylike look. She is smaller in size, her coat is thinner. She weighs only 1 pound less than my boy but is half the size! She has longer legs.

This is random, but I feel that my girl likes guys (human)...my boy is attached to me whereas my girl is more attached to my bf...However, I read that females are suppose to be equal with everyone and that males tend to be more attached with one person. What's your experiences?

Here are my "twins" - the girl is the one with the red bow of course. Do you think she looks more feminine than her brother? :)

I think if you just put a bunch in a room, it would be impossible to tell which ones were girls and which were boys from the top side. One of my boys has very dainty features and one of my girls looks more rugged.

Cute picture but without the bow, nope could not tell the difference.

I couldn't tell, lol, everyone calls my Bailey a she, probably because he is so tiny with delicate features..and he does wear bows :p

I wanted a girl like yours --the teddy bear face-- but when I went to see the puppies, she has petite females (it's cuz their coat is thin).

Nope, your babies look the same to me, the only way I can tell is the bow. haha. they are adorable!

I have two girls
 
from the same litter and one is dainty and teddy bear looking, very feminine, the other one, even we keep calling he. She just looks masculine. I truly believe that if she were human she would be wearing sensible shoes and marching in 'pride' parades.
