Oh CRAP you don't!!! Cooper, 8 mo. old, had an accident in the house tonight, the poopy kind. That was bad enough, but then she started to eat it FAST!! She NEVER does this, she poops outside everyday and will have nothing to do with it. She will not even poop, walk, sniff near an old poop pile in the yard. What gives? Was she trying to hide it?:thumbdown:thumbdown |
She might be testing you. It might have been a surprise to her too, & she knew it was the wrong place. Roxy had a couple surprise poops before. She seemed to be as shocked as I was. It happened so fast. Give her a break & watch to make sure she's not regressing. That happens sometimes too. Hang in there! |
When puppies are still with their mother they are taught to keep the nest clean so it may be that your dog knew not really to poop so cleared it up. I've read it somewhere that it can happen. |
Thanks! Luckily, no more poops in the house. sheew! She is about eight months and has been HARD to potty train. I got her at 3 months and she was confused on the whole potty thing. |
I think she wanted to hide it ;) |
