The $1200-2500 reflects what I was referring to. That is an extremely elevated price for a nonstandard Yorkie with or without being from a fully CH pedigree. |
I posted in a earlier post but her asking price is 850 with full registration. |

Also wanted to say... cj125 is right, just hoping the breeder does not sell as rare and charge more (which they seem not to be doing). We had looked at a family of yorkies the day after we got Uni. the mom was a golden. She was also bigger than standard. She had 7 pups, yes seven! They were huge. (Also the dad was aggressive, that's why they had him locked up in another room! Thanks goodness we didn't buy from them!!!) Anyway, what I'm saying is when you have a fault such as this, they should not be bred to pass on that gene. |
SOOOO CUTE! get her get get her GET HER! :) |
I would say go for it!She sure is a cutie!:D |
She looks like a sort of CREAM color to me. I SOOOOOOOOOO wish someone REPUTABLE/KNOWLEDGEABLE (ie. the parent club, YTCA) would establish a color code/standard,(INCLUDING THE CURRENT WEIGHT STANDARD) /pattern for the different colored Yorkies. I sometimes see Brindley looking puppies called Chocolate or Golden just to suit the person breeding for what ever color they choose to prefer. And some sort of reddish being called golden or chocolate. It seems there are so many clubs, groups, registries popping up just to suit the dog they own whatever size or color. |
She is very cute! But she looks like a Yorkie-Poodle mix to me. Especially with the ears being down and long. Some Yorkies ears are down but not that long at 12 wks (IMO) I hope they are being honest about her being a Golden Yorkie. |

It's kind of hard to answer your question as to a "fair price". What seems 'fair' to one, may not be 'fair' to the next. I.e. I would think that $2K for a quality specimen who meets standards with CH lines would be 'fair' but that charging anything over than about $400 for a dog that varies from the standard so much is a rip off. But that's just MY opinion on what I think is "fair." What's fair is an opinion. The only opinion that really matters here is your since you will be the one purchasing the dog. |

Hey to all and thank you for all your thoughts on this little one.As I said in the first posting I was still on the fence you have helped me to decide against this girl. The Yorkie-poodle mixed made my decision after going back and reviewing the woman's other puppies for sale she had 2 toy poodles for sale also the same age along with English bulldogs.I wanted to post to let ya'll know she has lowered her price again to 650 if any of you would like to inquire about this little one the site she is posted at is on the top of the picture I think it is puppyfind.com she is located in donelson,tn |

 WOW, scandalous!!! I'm glad you saw that before purchasing. |
Oh wow, I didn't even realize the length of ears. Good job whoever noticed that. then yes I agree, paying more than $300 or 400 for a mix is too much. |
