I need help. Please? :( My yorkie is acting weird too. I just got him a couple of days ago. The first day went fine.. he's running and playing around the house. He jumps when there's food and all. He's really playful during the first 3 days. Then something happened. he fell down 3 flights of stairs on his attempt to go down and play with me. From then on, he's a lil dull. He sleeps all the time and going outside doesn't excite him at all. He doesn't play much now. Is it because he's having a hard time adopting to his new environment? or is it TRAUMA? Or maybe the food he's eating? By the way, he doesn't wanna eat the dog food I just bought in the market. I tried putting it in milk and warm water too but still failed. So I had no hoice but to feed him with people food. Please...I need help!! it's my first yorkie everrr! |
If he was fine until he fell down three flights of stairs it is very likely that he has been injured, you should consider taking him to the Vet. |
I would go to the vets ASAP!!!!! 3 flights of stairs OMG don't forget how small they are could be something internal. Keep us updated!! |
It looks like a low Glucose, how old are your yorkie? puppies usually suffer this problem. Honey helps for recover health Got to the vet anyway |
Please take your little one to the vet ASAP:eek: |

3 FLIGHTS of stairs? or 3 steps? He is most likely injured, it might be just bruising, or it could be a concussion. He definitely needs to be seen by a vet. Aslo do not give him cows milk. Get canned goats milk and maybe some baby rice cereal. But if he was eating fine before, I would not think it is the food. How old is he and what does he weigh |

help for Yorkie 3 steps for a little Yorkie is enough to cause injury. Please take him to the vet to be sure there's nothing wrong internally. |
You really must take him to the vet. It sounds like concussion to me & you cannot treat it yourself or just hope it will go away. He may well have an internal bleed. If you don't get veterinary help the most likely thing is that you will lose him. Sorry if this scares you but this is IMPORTANT xx Meggie |
How Is Your Little Furbaby? We are all praying for you. PLEASE keep us posted on how he is doing and what the vet said. Thanks! |
How is your little one?? Please let us know. |
As all of the members said, I think your furbaby is injured too...that's why he/she's not as playful as before, I hope you brought him/her to see a vet already, keep us updated :) |
