Rather Embarassing  My little boy, Bailey, may or may not have a problem. Whenever we meet another dog he usually gets excited, but generally likes it when it is a larger dog that pays no attention to him. Anytime another dog pays too much attention, he rolls over on his back and his little wiener pops out (a lot) I am a guy and I get a little embarassed but don't know exactly what to make of it and whether this is something that can change or if I should just get over it. I understand he is not the "Alpha" type, but has anyone else had any experience with this? If he were doing it with female dogs alone I would surmise he has an alterior motive for his XXX rated show. A little red in the face  Samc and Bailey |
I can sypathize... I have no adivce but I must admit that it is funny!!! lol My family's german sherpard will do that when he was rubbed on his belly or his back sometimes... It is embarrasing to say the least... |
Oh the ol Lipstick,, or the Red Rocket... I dont know what to tell ya,,, I on the other hand have NEVER seen Baileys at all,,, I've often wondered if HE has a problem?? I wouldnt worry abt it,,, everyone should understand,,, Tell people " oh hes HAPPY to see you." :D |
LOL Thanks for the humor! Samc & Bailey :lol tears |
You said he's not the alpha type! :D I would say that's for sure, because while I'm no expert I would guess this to be submissive behavior. I would probably do some research on submissive behavior and see if you can't find a solution. OK? He-he! :D |
Lol I am so thankful my male dog doesnt do that. |
Now I am really feeling at a disadvantage, thanks for those words of encouragement. :fallen: Samc and Bailey |
it could be worse....my babies are 3 weeks tomorrow...my little one has a cleft pallatte and has never been able to nurse from mom...so i have been bottle feeding....well this morning i went to check on the puppies and the little one was trying to feed on the little boys u know what....i really hope she doesnt try it again.....needless to say i ran for the bottle....see...it could be worse.... |
 Ok, I will stop complaining. I hope your little one will be ok. Just curious what can be done about that? Samc and Bailey |
Not THAT, I mean your pup's cleft palate. |
what can be done about the cleft pallatte....or looking for a meal? |
cleft pallatte, cleft pallatte |
its only a partial cleft pallatte...she is missing the part up by the gum....her biggest problem is she also has a hair lip....or cleft lip...she will need surgery when she gets older....probably will be missing some teeth or they will grow elsewhere....yikes...i hate to think of it...will know more when we see the vet again for shots in a couple of weeks.... |
hehehehe....see you don't have a problem at all....lol |
Poncho's Red Rocket always pop's out when he gets too excited. I don't think there is any thing you can do about it. If there is some thing, please let me know! :) |
