Suggestions for urine stain. Please. Romeo marked a few spots on a new area rug that is a light cream. I used Nature's Miracle and it did not work. Please help. My husband is furious. This is causing a huge problem. |

Does Romeo use pee pads? If so, throw rugs are not a good idea, we close off those rooms where we use throw rugs because Joey can't resist; he thinks my lamb"s wool throw rug is the perfect pee pad! :D |
I use vinegar to get rid of a lot of stains. |
I use PetZyme. Shake it up, spray it on, let it dry. Works wonders. |
I use Capture |
I swear by Rug Doctor's Pet Stain Remover. While it may not work on old set in stains it is great at removing new & recent accidents. If I found a damp stain and used it you could never tell where the spot was.;) Just follow the directions on the spray bottle. |
i use Fizzion.. it works great!!!! ive tried all the pet stain products out there, even natures miracle and it did not work for me either. Other products left a white soapy residue stain on my carpet. Fizzion also got out the old stains the other products left behind. There is a YT member on here that sells it. If u do a search on Fizzion on YT, u should find it. FiZZiON Concentrated Cleaner, Carpet Stain Remover, Pet Stain, Odor Remover, Stain Cleaner Good Luck! |
I use urine off. It helps with the stain and odor. With four furbabies it comes in handy.:) |
If you can get your hands on de-greaser like whats used in fast food places/restaurants it works great for stains. It took a 5yr stain out of my bedroom carpet. I think it was nail polish.. lol It also took some black stains out of the headliner of my car that was there when I bought it. Ours is a majority water too so I would make sure it was diluted a little bit. I don't know for sure if it would work for urine but I would imagine. Of course, I would highly recommend testing a small area. |
I would clean the rug with a carpet cleaner. or one of the spot removers. If the rug is expensive--treat accordingly! It may fade or change colors depending on the chemicals applied. Proceed with caution! I would gate off the rug---yorkies will have accidents and pee. Messes will be made--if this creates too much drama--need to set boundaries! |
