Standing ears!! Andy's ears are up!!!!!!!!! This makes me soooooo happy and excited! Chloe has a crazy ear; one is up and one is down. I'm so glad his are up!! Not that I don't love my Chloe but I always wanted her one ear to stand! Now I have a baby whose ears are both up!! He's only 11 weeks and he is such a dare devil. Chloe loves him to pieces and Andy is always following her around. They play cat and mouse all the time. I am so blessed to have these little ones in my life. I just don't know what I'd do without them! They are my LIFE!!! I even painted their names on their stockings tonight. =] I love them so much! Oh, and did I mention that Andy will sit for hours on end chewing his bones! It's a great distraction! He is soooo good with going potty outside compared to when Chloe was potty training. He is such a joy! :) |
congrats that's so exciting! Pann has one ear that stands up and one that's down, I'm hoping his will stand up one day, but if not he's still cute! |
Derby's ears only stand when he's having a"serious" emotion. happy, excited, scared etc. Otherwise, they are down. Nothing I do helps lol |
Most yorkies ears stand without help! But I've been trimming Any's ears at the tips because I wanted them to stand. One of them was almost standing when we first got him a few weeks ago. Thanksgiving day they both were standing and have been standing every since! I am so happy! Chloe's ears were floppy all throughout the time she was a puppy. At about 6/7 months just that one stood. I never trimmed her ears when she was a puppy. I think if I would have then both of her ears would be standing now. Not sure, but I don't love her any less! Just be patient and I'd suggest just trimming the tips and I even took my DH's trimmer to the inside of the tips of Andy's ears. I think it helped! |
Ears!!! :animal36 Tobey's ears are emotional as well. He's eight months + so there is no hope any more; they are down most of the time. But congratulations on your happy event! :) |
Derby's ears are definitely trimmed and massages on a daily basis. haha Oh well! He is loved! all 10 pounds of him (and maybe still growing!) |
Yeaaahhhhh!!! :) I know exactly how you feel...Congratulations! |
dumbo ears My little guy has dumbo ears. I actually had to help his to stand. I felt bad at the time, but in the long run they are up and not floppy so I don't feel bad now! His ears are so expressive of his feelings! |

I have to agree with the ears being expressive! I can always tell what is wrong by looking at their ears. They are soo adorable! |

My husband said today "I've seen his ears go up a lot more lately... I hope they don't stand! He's got dumbo ears! he'll be Derby the Dumbo Dog." I laughed so hard! poor Derby.... :p |

Great news!!! Li has one ear that refuses to stand. I keep meaning to tape it again and trim the hair but I never get around to it. I'm thinking she's just going to be a one-ear-up, one-ear-down girl. |
Yay! :yay_jump: Congratulations!!! |

The ear dance is so amusing to watch.... Tiki had both up for a while around 6 months to 12 months, then one started flopping. I love one up and one down, so don't mind; it gives her personality. Surprisingly, 2 of my Morkies have ears up, and I expected the Maltese in them would keep the ears down. |
