A Pee Pad is a joke to Penny Am I the only one that has a pup that thinks pee pads are a joke? She thinks they are great to tear up. Is there any spray that will attract her to use them? I take her out everytime I turn around. She is pretty good about peeing outside as long as I hurry. She loves running in the yard and playing then comes in and potties. We brought her home at 9 months. She is going on 12 weeks . What a joy she is. Some days I am ahead of the game and others I am pulling out my hair. |
You're not the only one! Bella does that too. When I first got her I tried the pads but she just peed next to them lol. You can but some of her pee pee on the pad that should attract her to pee on them. Good luck I'll take all the advice I can too, mine still isn't potty trained after 4 months of trying. :aimeeyorkBella's mommy:aimeeyork |
i'm in the same boat with you ladies.....Jazzi loves paper and the pee pad was a thrill for her to tear up. I bought the patch of fake grass...she just loves to walk on it.....she still pees on the floor. I take her out often and sometimes she just runs through the grass and rubs her belly on it. I did teach her how to scratch on the door to ask to come in, and I want to get the bell because I thought of all the damage the scratching will lead to. She is five months old now. Looks like I have a long way to go still. |
Our breeder warned us that Taffy would think the crinkle sound of a disposable pee pad meant it was a toy. She told us to be sure to buy the washable, reusable ones. With these we have no problem. |
I think that is it really. Jazzi loves anything that makes that noise. Your little Taffy is colored like my Jazz....she is a toy also....she is five months old and weighs two and a quarter pounds soaking wet!!! LOL>>>> |
Maddie is only 5 weeks, but she seems to know what the pee pad is for...well, most of the time anyways! She will whine and I'll put her on her pad and she usually goes. It's probably more that she just goes when I put her down, but it's still good! She has had an accidents off the pad, but for her age I think she is doing good. |
sounds like she is getting the message at a very early age. That's wonderful!!:) |
