I am spending the day at home with my furbabies and YT. Anyone else? I am in leg aircast recovering from surgery that I had 5 weeks ago.So no (store) shopping for me I would probably get trampled!:p LOL.How about you?

I am here! I dont like to get out in the crowds on Black Friday. Ive already did alot of My shopping I just have to pick up a few things for my Son and My Husband is doing the rest. I might venture out tomorrow morning early before the crowds

Not fighting those crowds for something the stores would be out of anyway..lol Much rather spend my time with my kids.."skin" and "fur".

No black friday shopping here. The yorkie pups were our Christmas gifts to the girls. They are cudlding with them as we speak.

I just finished my "Black Friday" shopping and hit a fleece gold mine. Came home with a Mini Cooper loaded down with some very nice selections.

Not for us either. The older I get the less I like shopping in crowds. I think I will just give my son and family money, just shop for mom. The kids like going shopping and picking out their own anyway.

I am pretty much doing that this year too.Did buy ahead some gifts,but not able to do much now!

I'm around . . .we are setting up our three Christmas trees today . . .I do have a bit more shopping to do, but I won't go anywhere near stores today at all . . .I'm not a very good crowded store person . . .in fact, I hate to shop!!:p

No Black Friday shopping for me either. Hubby is working, I am at home with my kids (3 skin, 3 fur, lol). We've been coloring, racing toy cars, we made peanut butter play-doh and are now playing with (and munching on) that, and just having a fun semi-lazy day.

lol! Nope I do not do large crowds and don't see the point of sitting outside and freezing my buns off.... Sleeping in and if I do black friday shopping it will be over the good old internet:)

No shopping for me either. I don't like the crazy crowds - I'm getting too old for that stuff. Besides, we had our first snow of the season here (albeit only about 2 inches) but that is enough for people to forget how to drive. LOL We will be taking Jack out in a bit to see how he likes the snow....:p

I am here! ( While working, but shhhh) no crowds for me, however, at 3pm I am going shopping my boyfriend's mom to get an outfit for their cousins wedding on 12/11/09, should be interesting! :)

im at home with the kids this morning we went to the library and we chased down a stray dog when we caught it a man came out of his truck and yelled at us told us to leave his dog alone when asked why dog was alone he told us it was to cold for him to be out walking he just lets the out the door and follows it in the truck some times i hate people

I walked in Walmart at 8 am and walked right back out...a 2-3 hour wait to CHECK OUT!! No way!!

Sounds like your experience was like mine.....we headed to Old Navy at 3am, only to find the line about 100 people long outside.....and a line for the checkout inside almost the same....they had opened at midnight (not advertised) and were basically sold out of most of the best sale items (from what we could see through the window and told by those that were getting in and coming right back out)........so we headed to Kohls at 4am and by the time we got in the store the lines were wrapped to the back of the store to check out so we just walked out......drove past Target & Best Buy (which opened at 5am) as we were leaving and their lines outside were so unreasonable it just made us laugh and go home and get back in bed!! Beyond crazy!!!!!!!!!!

It is 1:00pm and I am still in my jammies (although Bonnie and I got up this am @ 6:30). She as been sitting in my lap or beside me all morning.
I did put my house back in order and cleaned up my kitchen. (YEAH, I did go to bed with a messy kitchen) I hosted Thanksgiving for 20. They arrived at 10:30am and the last one left at 4:30. I had one overnight guest (DS's GF) and they were making salsa and cookies right up to bedtime.
I did Black Friday once, that was enough for me.

Oh, did I mention that the reason I am still in my jammies is because I am parked in front of the TV watching "Real Housewives of NJ"? WOW is all I can say. I have never seen this show before. I have been mesmerized:rolleyes:

I do my shopping on Cyber Monday. Thats this coming monday and you can find better deals online than Black Friday..

I'm thinking I will be doing some shopping that day too.I'm still in a cast and crutches so it is very hard to shop.Plus it seems like when I go shopping most of the rude people are out and its very upsetting.:mad:

I stayed away from stores today. No way could I get hubby into stores today. I ordered a pressure cooker for mom at dad's order on Thanksgiving day. I have been watching Say Yes To The Dress marathon today. Love that show. I did get him to take me to Wendy's for a hamburger though :)

No more Black friday shopping for me Ever! Too many crazies. Spent the day babysitting my 7 yr old randson who I adore and hanging out with my chi Lindsay. Am saving the big bucks for my yorkie puppy who should be born very soon!

Call me dedicated...or crazy! LOL:D My friend and I started a tradition a few years ago and each 'black friday' we head to the Turkey Creek shopping center in Knoxville. I got up at 2:30 a.m. and we went to WalMart, Target, Kirkland's, Best Buy, Victoria's Secret(for me;)) and Marshall's.(This was were I found some cute stuff for my furry girls!)
We keep good spirits about it all and enjoy a girls day out.:)

No shopping for us but we did go to the Renaissance Festival. That was a lot of fun! I think next year we are going to camp out near the Ren Fest and dress up too. :D
