So the vet says she has mucousy stool and tummy ache, but has no sign of anything bad in the stool, and she ate some baby food. That is where we stand right now. |
I hope she gets better soon.:) |
Oh Maya, I hope you feel better soon! |
Yall I've been scared to death, I kept waking her up and making her look at me to be sure she hadn't died. Of course when she saw Auntie LIsa, she about jumped out of the towel she had been whinning in all morning with me. |
Glad she is doing ok. |
Glad she is doing better :) |
I'm glad shes doing better! Keep us updated! :) |
She's not "better". Doc just checked in and said the diarherra is bad. |
Sounds like what my Abbi had when she was about 5 months old. It was coccidia. See here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ccidiosis.html The runny stools were really horrible smelling and she was very dehydrated. I fed her pumpkin, boiled chicken, brown rice, plain yogurt and gave her pedialyte via syringe to make sure she was hydrated and had some electrolytes. Good luck!! Michele :-) |
Oh I am so sorry that she is sick... has the vet been able to give her anything to help with the diareah like kaolin/pectin so that she doesn't get any more dehydrated? It is so upsetting when they are sick like this, I really hope that she starts feeling better soon. |

Say everyone I thank you so much for caring, She is spending the night at AUnt Lisa's house, not at the clinic. |
Glad she is getting special attention from Aunt Lisa. Let us know how she is doing. |
