HELP Thrown UP Every Meal He Has Eaten Today

I have some bad news I think Polo is sick with something. So this Morning I fed him his normal food eggs and kibble. And a little bit later he threw up 2 times all the food he ate. So then later at dinner time I fed him a little bit of chicken with kibble.
I heard Chicken is good for sick tummies? he threw that up too then not very long ago he ate some plain kibble, and threw that up he obviously can NOT keep any food down.

Is it possible for dogs to get stomach bugs?

Should I take him to vet?

is there any food that I can feed that he can keep down?



please please I need some answers I don't what is the matter with him

YES dogs can get stomach bugs. I would make sure that he is at least drinking water. If he's not better in the morning, take him in to the vet.

Yes he is drinking water but not as much as normal
Should I still feed him in the Morning?

Polo just threw up 2 more times that is 6 times in one day

Maybe give him some nutrical to make sure he gets nutrients in his body. I would definately take him to the vet asap!!

I don't have any Nutrical is there any thing else I could use in place of the nutrical?

I'm not sure. I'm a new yorkie mom. I think Kayro syrup is a possible subsitute. (note 100 percent sure) I found my info from yorkie talk. If you read through different threads there is a wealth of info here. I hope your baby gets better. Good luck

First thing they might give you is something for the vomiting. Angel ( my husbands yorkie) got sick and was throwing up too many times. We got him to the vet and they gave him something for the vomiting and it worked really fast. He started drinking water and he was much better in the morning.
It could just be a stomach bug. But take him in the morning to the vet.

You can use pedatite, white karo syrup or some regular sugar if you don't have the others in his water to help keep his sugar level up.

You can rub Karo syrup on the gums or tongue (or roof of mouth) if you're wanting to get their blood sugar up. We were on the road a couple of months ago and I thought I had Nutrical with us but didn't so after ours got carsick, I worried about blood sugar, etc. (Worried even more when I couldn't find what I thought I'd packed.)

I got funny looks but we stopped at a convenience store off the interstate and I bought a sucker for her. The clerk looked at me like I was totally crazy but I figured it was probably primarily made with sugar and water and she did lick it a little. Later on down the road I had a better idea and had my husband pull into a McDonald's, buy pancakes, and threw the pancakes away. Used the syrup. (I actually did tell him to try to just buy a packet of syrup but being the "man" he is, he wouldn't ask. He seems to think some of my ideas are a bit out there...LOL I operate under the premise that people will help if they can even if it is a weird request.)

Also, when Taffy (or other animals or even children) will not drink water and you're trying to keep them hydrated, a popsicle or even an ice cube for them to lick will help at least get a tiny bit of fluid in. Our Yorkie LOVES ice cubes. Unfortunately, she "hides" them and thinks we steal them since they are not there when she goes back! (Her expression of bewilderment is so cute when it's gone.)

Back to your problem though, I would go to the vet tomorrow just for peace of mind myself. I have heard of giving a tiny bit of Pepto for such but you'd better check that out since I have no clue as to the amount. We are lucky that ours primarily only vomits on road trips (well, there was that time we induced it with peroxide) and has never had an upset stomach or even very loose stools. From what I read on here, we are very lucky.
