I accidentially posted this in the picture forum b/c I wasn't paying attention and I was on the phone!:rolleyes: Anyway, here's my question...

So I'm in the process of ordering Christmas cards for us this year, and they will have Sophie's picture on them. They are so cute, btw!! :thumbup: Anyway, do any of you who order the custom cards put your furbabies' names on them? My husband says I'm goofy, but I just happened to think of it! :p Anyway, if I put one I'm going to put them all so here's what it'd look like:


The (our last name)
Chip & Kristy
Otis, Milo, Park, Walt, & Sophie Belle

or

The (our last name)
Chip & Kristy
and the "kids": Otis, Milo, Park, Walt, & Sophie Belle

What does everyone think? Am I weird for wanting to? Should I just go with DH & my names? :confused:

I probably would. I wanted to do Christmas pictures with our pets too so I think I would write the names on a card, why not. There your babies :p

That's what I'm thinking. I wish I could get all of their pictures on the card, but the cats won't sit still with Sophie with them and the big dog would be a disaster trying to take the picture!:rolleyes: I may put all of them on there since anyone that knows us knows that the animals are our kids!

Last year we only had Gypsy and I listed her on some of the cards. It depended on who they were going to. My family understands but the people at the church would not.

I thought about that, too. I may order some with just our names and some with all the names.

Last year one of the stores in the area offered pictures of your pet with Santa Claus. I took Buster and Maggie and the picture turned out great. The photographer also offered Christmas cards for a nominal fee, of course. I had our name and the names of the puppies printed on the cards.

Maddie's first Christmas we used her picture for our Christmas cards. I listed her name. I had a friend or two who thought I was silly, but I didn't care. I didn't see the difference in using her picture or some cute little commercially made card with another dog on it.?. Her picture was just more special.

Girl, I've always put my pets' names on my Christmas cards. Cards at Christmas time are from the heart and my heart is over-flowing with my precious babies....So, no, you are not being silly. You're showing your love for your babies!!

This will be me and Auti's first Holidays together and her first holidays period and trust to believe everyone I know will be getting Holidays cards of us:D. great idea

We put our lil girl's name on them last year. She was in the pic. She will definitely be on ours again this year and every year after that!! She is a part of our family!!

So in response to your question...If you are weird, then so am I and all the rest of us!!! :animal-pa;)

It's been years since we've even sent Christmas cards because I am notorious for not finding their "safe" hiding place when it's time for them to be addressed and mailed.

So....

This year's card features Taffy and I think everyone will be so shocked to get a card from us that they may actually take the time to admire her...LOL

Now...if I can only keep these cards in full view until I get them addressed and mailed...

:)

Forever more...I wrote my sentence in the "reason".... I need more sleep, I think! I like the first option.

This is the first time in 6 years we are sending them, too. I've decided to go ahead and put all their names on there. Most everyone knows the cats and dogs are our babies right now so even if they think I'm weird, I'm not going to let it bother me!:p

And I loved that you answered my question in your "reason for edit"!!!! :lol tears
