Do all yorkies prance? Bailey is so cute, he doesn`t walk, he prances!, his head held high in the air like he is above all others:p I`ve had several people mention his walk to me, and how adorable it is. Do all yorkies prance like they are royalty? |

I think they're such proud little doggies - they know they are little stars! Rio is especially proud when she's come from the groomer! |
They ARE proud little dogs, aren't they? :D You can't see Bella's legs ... she has a long coat - all you see is swinging hair. But Puddie? When he's trotting down the hallway, he moves like one of those dogs in the Westminster ring. It really is cute ... |

Yup. Tucket prances and it is ADORABLE!! Ozzy is either running or taking a nap. I haven't really seen him walk :D |

Buster prances. Maggie doesn't, she is shorter to the ground, Buster has longer, thinner legs so you can really see him prance. I love to watch him prance. :D |
Apple prances....I guess it's a yorkie "thang"....tooooooo cute 'though:p |
It might be a terrier thing -- our 85-pound Airedale pranced exactly the same way our Yorkie Max does now. Max also does the "front leg-kicking strut" and the "rocking horse run" exactly like our Airedale. |
Bandit (our boy) prances. Nala (our girl) walks like a football quarterback lol. |
The only time I have really noticed Callie do it is after I change her into a different shirt, sweater, or dress and she will do it all around the house and then go show the dog next door it cracks us up. |

Bella Prances too.. she also pounces on everything.. you throw her toys and when she is within about 3 feet she will start pouncing like pe-pe le pew in the cartoons.. all for legs hit the ground at the same time and pounces about 3 times before she attacks it!!! we LAUGH every time.. they are soo stinking cute arent they?! (and to think i use to be a Lab person!!!) |
Diva prances too. We call it the pageant walk around our house. She is such a little show off, always prancing around making her beautiful fur flow around her. She 'knows' she's hot stuff!!! LOLm gotta love that Diva attitude in yorkies. Davinci is beginning to prance now also. He doesn't want to get left out of all the praises from the adoring humans! |
Bella Dual Personality Bella prances like a proud princess at times and other times she walks like a bulldog. She keeps us smiling because she's always full of surprises! |
Whenever she wins a tug-of-war with one of us, Annie does a victory prance around the room clutching the stuffed bear in her mouth. Then she goes in smaller circles, getting closer and closer, daring us to try and grab it again. She's adorable!!! :) |
