It takes a yorkie to change my mothers life...
 

I love my yorkie furbutt lol shes soo adorable :) im so happy i was able to get her.

And i've been thinking how wonderful pups are & thought about something to help my mom out. I've seen that there's a few super creative people in YT that design dresses and hair bows and beds and all sorts of great little ideas for our little baby.

First let me tell you about my mom and you will understand how all this will fit in, My mother has been out of work since 2006 do to a severe accident she had in 1993 that has taken a toll on her. My mother is a relatively young woman, shes only 50, and shes been stuck at home without being able to work, she also does not have a car....

My step dad, whom i love like my father, has taken care of my mom through this time, financialy BUT emotionaly since she has nothing to do, its been draining on her, shes been depressed for so long now..SO...i called her yesturday (she lives in Miami 2 hours away from my home) and since she has a sewing machine & shes very creative, i mean this woman when i was little hand reupolstered wicker chairs, the ones that have that wood piece in the back so shes smart lol, and so i told her, i would buy her the supplies she would need & make her a website, if she started doing little accessories for yorkies and puppies...

I guess i just need to hear this is okay from the YT users, i dont want to intrude on any one elses business. I want to make sure this will be okay with all the fellow sellers that are in YT.

Or some other imput/idea would also be greatly accepted, i just want her to be excited about something in her life again...

oh honey I think is a great Idea, I sew and do a lot of custom dolls, keeping the mind busy is great medicine, you can also get an etsy, or ebay account for her and she can sell her stuff there, also she can print her shipping labels thru USPS.com and they come and pick it up in her home, no need for her to go to the post office..

You'll have to let us know her site adress if she gets one so we can order from her it's a good cause and we get cloths ect. Out of the deal yeah

Thank you so much all of you for your support :) you have encouraged me even more, i called my mom and told her ill be in miami this weekend and we are going supply shopping heheh :D She was so excited. I'm so happy shes interested :) it can help her alot i think.

Thank you Patti & Ct. I guess after we go through our crazy teen years, we learn to appreciate our parents alot, in my case, even more because we dont live in the same town. I've been struggling with my mom everyday, because i do call her ever day to speak to her, and i have offered her so many things to try to keep her busy, even driving down and picking herup so she can spend the week at my house, but nothing had seem to catch her attention until i spoke to her about this subject.

Her first response was "Wow, thats great idea and we can do little designs for bows" lol, i laughed and said that is what i mean mom!! lol :D

I will keep you all updated, she wont sell them for much, i just want her busy, even if she does not make much money it will keep her occupied and that to me is worth everything right now. It's very sad to see your mom feel depressed.

I am delighted! There are all kinds of clothing, and costume patterns, but beds and toys are great too.

Busy hands are a good thing, hands busy loving what they do, is a great thing! :D

Aww Thank you CareJo, that is very sweet of you to offer :) . Tomorrow ill be in Miami so i will bring you guys pictures of our fabric finder & buttons & what ever else we are able to get tomorrow :).
