WHY I'd Lillie pottying where ever she wants again?? It started Monday--Lillie is deciding to pee or pop were ever she pleases this week. She has been trained to go outside and on the piddle pad. Now, all of a sudden she's been peeing on the carpet pooping in the corners!! Ugh! I take her out every chance I get and even keep a fresh pee pad in the apartment. I just don't understand. She's turning 5 months in a few days.... |
Sophie started the same thing after we went on vacation to Florida. We left her at home with my dad and after about 3 days she started going everywhere. She had had maybe a weeks worth of accidents up to that point, now she has one every few days or sometimes every day! From what I understand, this can happen (and we didn't help matters when we left without her!). Yorkies can be hard to train, and just when you think you have, they do something crazy! But she has gotten better and the accidents have diminished. So just keep working with your baby and she'll get it down again! |
Keep working at it. Roxy would go back & forth too. Lillie may be testing you. Stay consistant & don't give up! |
My vet told me that between 4-6 months Yorkies will regress in their potty training for a few weeks and then when they go back to behaving it will "stick". His actual words were, "they get a case of the dumb-a$$". So far, I have found this to be true with all of mine. Peanut is 6 months old and was doing very well with potty training and sure enough about 3 days ago, he caught that nasty dumb-a$$ virus and I feel like we're back to square one again.Just be consistant & patient.:) |
Dumb-a$$ virus! Gotta love that one! |
