What is normal for teeth extractions?? Does anyone know what the average price is for teeth extractions?? I'm being quoted by the type of tooth- is this normal?? from what I am hearing it can range from $22-$106 a tooth!! :eek: |
I would call around. Mine got it done at the spay/neuter and my vet didnt charge me anything for the extractions |

I had my Tucker in, he had to have 7 baby teeth extracted, the bill was $77.00 with antibiotic, about 2 years ago. My Abby, had 2 teeth extracted about 5 months ago it was $45.00 with antibiotic. It makes a big difference where you are located. |
Rio just got spayed yesterday and had 4 baby teeth pulled. The dental extraction was an extra $130 for all 4 teeth. I think my vet is on the expensive side, but cost wasn't my first priority. Rio is only 2.8 lbs. so my priority was finding a vet that I felt comfortable with doing invasive surgery on such a little dog. I recommend the pre-anesthesia bloodwork too - good way to be sure your little one's liver can handle the anesthesia and rule out liver shunt. |

My old vet charged 25 for the little teeth and 35 for the big ones. My new vet only charges 5 bucks per tooth. |

Glad this was in here, have to call vet tommorrow and find out the prices...Shay has whole line of baby teeth and whole line of adult teeth....ugggh! vet said to wait till nutered, and we would do that at around 12-18 months, since he is so small...I cant imagine that having two sets of teeth is good for him....any ideas or info? |

My Abby had 5 teeth extracted at the same time she was spayed. The cost was $5 per tooth. I assume it would have been more if they had to put her to sleep just for the dental procedure. I thought they probably pulled all her remaining baby teeth but evidently it was only the ones where the permanent teeth had already come through because she lost another baby tooth two weeks later. |
