About male yorkies I was talking with my fiancee last night about yorkies and he asked me a silly question. He asks me " Do you think boy yorkies would NOT like cuddling with a man? " He seems to be under the impression that a boy dog would not be interested in cuddling with a man because it would be "weird" for the dog. LOL He's never owned a male and neither have I so I wonder, do your boys like your S/O's or you better and vise versa. My girls are just as cuddly with me and my fiancee. |
My boys are more loving than my girls...even with my husband. |
I have a male and a female yorkie and the male cuddles with my Husband alot in fact my Husband favors him. My male yorkie is also the smartest of the two |
I have a boy and he looooves to cuddle with my husband and I. he is a cuddle monster, lol... so no, it shouldn't be weird. mine loves to just tuck in between us two and be as close to us both on the couch or bed and be all nice and warm, it's too cute! :) |
Lol that's good to know. My Lola loves to cuddle both of us, but with the Winter moving in she loves to lay under the blankets near our feet now. Usually though she loves to lay on top of my fiancees chest and get covered with the blanket. |
Kaji is a little love bug. He lives with a bunch of girls, me, my roomie, and her little girl dog Gypsy. Gypsy is not interested in cuddling at all. She doesn't care for it. Kaji on the other hand has to be sitting with me at all times, touching me however he can. When my boyfriend comes to visit, Kaji MUST be sitting on his lap. My boyfriend jokes that Kaji likes him better. I just tell him "Kaji keeps his friends close and his enemies closer" ;) At home, Kaji also enjoys sitting right between my brothers so they can both pet him as he naps. |
Hot Rod is mostly a momma's boy but loves to cuddle with hubby if I'm not around. Maggie loves to cuddle with daddy more than me. :( |

I have 2 boys and they are *very* loving. Wylie likes to define how/when he he is held/cuddled....but Marcel? OMG. Total MUSH...anytime, anyplace, anyHOW. |

Ha, My boy loves men, He cudles with my SO every chance he gets, he is pretty loving in general. |
Galahad is mommys boy, but he loves his daddy too! He cuddles with him often, so yeah, I doubt it's "weird" for him, lol. |
Buster is very much a mama's boy but he will hang with "Big Foot" when I'm not around (mostly to keep Maggie from getting him). Buster would be content to sit in my lap all day, every day. Maggie is so independent, she will let you know when she wants to cuddle but until then, catch her if you can. When she does want to cuddle, she does not care who is available, as long as there a lap for her. |
I have a boy toy dog (not a yorkie) he is a pekignese/beagle whom was given to me by my husband a year ago when he was 6 weeks. He loved my husband to death, if my husband or i are on the sofa he will fall asleep with either one, he gives my husband millions of kisses and where ever my husband goes there is sharpie. He is also very very respectful of my husband if my husband tells him not to do something etc. |
I have two males who both love to cuddle. They are both mama's boys, but still love to cuddle with daddy. And they both sleep in bed with us, and take turns cuddling next to each of us. So my answer is yes, males LOVE to cuddle and are very affectionate with men or women. |
Lucky cuddles more with his Daddy than his Mommy....and I don't think he feels the least bit wierd about it!! lol |
My Yogi cuddles with my boyfriend just as much as he does me...There will be plenty of times where he'll come in the living and jump right into his lap and make himself comfortable and he'll alternate between the both of us. |
My yorkie boy is definately a mama's boy, but he will cuddle with dad when I am gone or busy doing something around the house. He is a lap dog for sure. He spends more time on laps than playing.:animal-pa |

I have 3 females and one male. My male is more attached to my husband. I jokingly tell my husband that Bosley is his Familiar. He follows him around everywhere and if he sits down, he has to be on his lap. My females prefer to cuddle with me. Only when they are annoyed with me, then they go to my husband, It's as if they are saying to me, "you ignored me, so I am going to ignore you!" |
One of my 2 (both boys) is a cuddle bug, and the other isn't. Tank (my cuddler) loves to cuddle anyone and everyone, as long as he's not scared of them, haha. he's very timid, but loves cuddling once he gets to know you! |
We have 1 male and 2 females. I am Mommy to all but they all will go to DH to cuddle. Of course, when the males tag up we call it Male Bonding! The females are very sweet, but they're all people dogs! |
